I'm hearing through the grapevine that we beat Harvard yesterday by a substantial amount. I'm trying to get more info but did anybody else hear anything?

Wouldn't be surprised. Isn't Harvard rebuilding this year?

Heard Hassan killed it for us. Cyril's former teammate killed it for them. EC had flashes and we controlled the scrimmage.

Bryce Aiken. He was a higher ranked prospect than Langevine, and the best of the group (Nick Richards) is still there and likely headed to Kentucky. That's a loaded team from a basketball powerhouse.

Harvard is predicted to finish in the top half of the Ivy. They have their best player coming back from an ACL injury as well (Siyani Chambers). He had to withdraw from school last year and take a leave of absence when he was hurt because of stupid Ivy Conference rules. Can you imagine EC having had to do that? Not being with his coaches and teammates when trying to rehab a significant injury?

Agree. That is a ridiculous rule.

Heard URI won the first half by 30 so they reset the clock before URI won the second half as well. EC apparently played extremely well its looked like his recovery is going well.

Yeah I don't think EC will be too diminished at the start of the season. He's got a few easier games to get his legs and confidence back before Mohegan.

Beat them by 30 in the first 30 minutes?
Nothing discouraging about that!
Was Chambers playing for them?

Beat them by 30 in the first 20 minutes before beating them by a significant amount in the last 20 minutes. I believe Chambers played but their too Frosh from NJ played well for them.

Per Dan, EC went 4-7 and 5 assists in the scrimmage. Gave him some a good amount of minutes in the first half and only a few minutes to start in the second half to help transition back to game mode. I will tell you he looked good in the open practice today.

Yes, EC is wearing a brace, but it's not affecting him one bit. He looks fast, strong and confident.

Mostly what's already been shared before-

Exciting to think about how great their defense was in 14-15 and that nearly every piece of that team is upgraded or more experienced, with an overall deeper roster.
