Re: Ticket Sales
Going to depend on how we do early on.......a 6000+ average is only possible if we meet expectations........

This is 100% spot on in my humble opinion. I think people forgot how dreadful our attendance numbers can be early season for no name opponents and even early A-10 games while the students are away.rambone 78 wrote:Going to depend on how we do early on.......a 6000+ average is only possible if we meet expectations........

From Kevin McNamara's report on the loss of Cox TV games:
Laprey said that while tickets to all home games are available, fans can no longer buy individual game tickets to see marquee A-10 matchups against Dayton and Virginia Commonwealth. Tickets to those games are available only via a season ticket or mini-plan.

"Every season, college basketball has one or two teams that rise from dormancy to relevancy, squads that make long-awaited charges at the NCAA Tournament and become really fun storylines along the way."
Re: Ticket Sales
Does anybody know what the buzz is like on campus? Could we be looking at 1,500 to 2,000 students for the opener? That will really be significant to our averages if we can get that kind of turnout per game.

Re: Ticket Sales
It usually takes a while for the students to get totally involved. I wouldn't expect tons of them there on opening night. But when they get back from winter break and we're into the A10 schedule, I could see that 1500-2000, yes.CT Rhody wrote:Does anybody know what the buzz is like on campus?
