I see VCU beating Dayton for the title.

It's what they do.

They are saying on Bonnie's Board that Dion Wright was passed for being left off all 3 A10 all Conf teams. He responded with 32 points and 15 rebounds.
Bonnie's went from in the NCAA to on the bubble and very iffy.
I would not count Davidson out from winning the championship with Gibbs leadership and as usual a good percentage shooting team with good, unselfish passing.

Lunardi still has the Bonnie's in with a 10 seed.

Yes. Interesting reading the Bonnie's board regarding the Davidson loss last night and their thread on the NCAA chances.
They believe they are on the edge and that last nights loss really hurt and put themselves on the bubble.
If Davidson wins the A10 then could 5 A10 teams go?

Still does today? I think that's as of yesterday.

If they get in, I think they will play in Dayton in the First Four group.....

There's still a few games that might decide their fate today.....

Dayton, Joe's are locks, and I think VCU should be now.

ramster, if Davidson wins then Bonnies are probably out, imo.

Lunardi still has Monmouth as last team in...I think they don't make it due to the mid major curse.

The committee will probably pick a P5 instead. No shock there.....especially if Michigan wins another game...if they pick Syracuse I will puke.....

An 8/9 game?

Winner gets to get blasted by a 1 seed in the next round?

Please, make it happen committee, YES!

Actually, can they both lose at once?

Hasn't VCU lost in the 2nd round in back to back years? I think two years ago they lost as a 5 seed. It would be nice to see them get a win..

Isn't UCONN their "biggest rival?" Lol

Saint Joseph's overcomes an early deficit and handles Dayton, 82-79. Dayton board is not overjoyed by the refs as once again SJU has a big edge in FT's. But Dayton did not shoot the ball well from the outside as the Hawks almost doubled them up on three pointers.

Going to be an interesting day for the A10 tomorrow. Big difference in computer ratings for a lot of schools (not just A10). St. Bonn. has a 30 RPI and a 78 KenPom. Dayton has a 21 RPI but a 53 KenPom. Gives the committee an opportunity to pick the schools they want in and justify later. We know what they did with Dayton last year who had to play a opening round game.

VCU cruised to an easy win over Davidson, 76-54 which sets up a VCU-Saint Joseph's final tomorrow at 12:30 PM.

I was really looking forward to a rematch of URI versus VCU, this time on a neutral court which is why I was so shocked by the surprise win by UMass over the Rams on Thursday. I firmly believe we would have given VCU a better game than UMass did, but we never know whether that was true or not. The capstone to a very frustrating season.

If there's a basketball god, he will see to it that there is a first round match up between UCONN & PC in a likely 7/10 game. Could you imagine the pressure that would be on PC to win that game? They spend half their time taking shots at a UCONN program who has who been one of the elite programs in the country the past 20 years. It kills them how successful they've been and the stranglehold they've had in New England college basketball supremacy. They finally start to see their fortunes changing now that they can compete in a less competitive Big East and UCONN is still floundering in the obscure American conference. What they fail to see is the UCONN brand will sustain itself until UCONN lands in a P5 conference. You dont all of a sudden fall off the map because of conference realignment, their strong recruiting classes prove that. I can only imagine the pc fan base 1 year removed from losing to an A10 team and then falling to UCONN in the first round, oh the irony.

So far, Saint Joe's in an impressive effort. Bembry is awesome. The kid knows how to create his own shot and can finish.

Phil Martelli can coach.
Bob McKillop can coach.
Mark Schmidt can coach.

A fully loaded URI next year?..there is no guarantee of anything.
