Kudos to the Rams
It’s hard to put your arms around URI’s stunning win at Dayton on Saturday, for two reasons.

First off, the Rams are going to war in much the same way the Confederates limped to the finish in the Civil War. With each succeeding game, Dan Hurley trots out fewer good players and still finds a way to win. Against Duquesne, backcourt reserve Christion Thompson suffered a first-half concussion, and the Rams hung on for a victory. The Rams traveled to Dayton just days after announcing that veteran big man Hassan Martin was shelved for the season with a knee injury. No big deal. Rhody jumped on the Flyers early, stumbled late and then steadied the ship for a 75-66 victory.

With games left vs. Massachusetts and at Fordham, the Rams (8-8) have a chance at a winning record in the Atlantic 10. It won’t happen, but Hurley should earn Coach of the Year votes if his team finishes 10-8 with its bloodied and bruised roster.

I don't think thats what he meant, I think he meant the coach of the year votes won't happen. It reads weird, it caught me off guard at first to.
