I wouldn't be surprised if JG plays some tonight.

He's a tough kid. If URI hopes to win this game, he needs to play.

I had thought a win tonight was very possible just a few days ago. After the performance I witnessed Saturday along with the injuries of Iverson and Garrett, I would be surprised. URI's best chances at road wins (@UMass and @LaSalle) in A-10 play were likely this week but the injuries may have a big impact on both games. This season continues to get even worse.

The Iverson and Garrett injuries mean big minutes for Thompson and Akele. I think it will be interesting to see how the two frosh respond to major roles.

Time for 4 to deliver......in a major way.....someone described him as streaky.....other than the Brown game did I miss another big contribution......he gets hot and carries the O load, Hass doesn't foul out, we will be in decent shape.....now is the time 4....

He scored 27 against Rider he also shot the ball very well against Richmond.

Terrell will be our point guard if Garrett doesn't play. I guess Four will be his backup. We have absolutely no depth at point. So many SGs on this team.

Against Richmond he had a solid overall game. Very efficient. Same could be said for American & TCU.
if you are looking for big contributions, he had 27 against Rider.

Problem is in big games like PC & both St. Joe's games, it didn't happen. Was nonexistent.

For all of you critics of the coaching this year do you think EC could have done a lot better. Not only would his shooting been a lot better but the same could be said for his defense and rebounding............

I'm optimistic that Thompson has a big game with his first ever D1 start and Thompson helps Martin have a big game as well.
Watson can handle the middle.
Just have a good feeling about tonight.

Yes, agree on the article. Could very well be we get our first road win tonight then on to LaSalle for another. I see the guys coming out fast and furious and with a big chip on their shoulder. Hope I'm right.

Can't afford any foul trouble tonight, and not just with Hassan.....with anybody really. If the refs are truly out to screw us, it should be very easy tonight.

Great opportunity for Thompson. I've been wanting him in the starting line up since late December but didn't want it to happen like this.
Guys will fight tonight for EC, KI and JG. I'm expecting a good performance from all.

UMass is going to win tonight. 1-7 in conference and coming off a home loss to Fordham, I'm sure they will be motivated and see this as an opportunity to pick up an in conference win.

I'd like to see a starting lineup of Hassan and Berry with Thompson, Terrell and Four tonight. Assuming Jarvis is not playing, otherwise switch four for Jarvis. Earl to sub for Hassan, if Berry stays clean.
