Looking for a big lead......enough to withstand a couple of Fordham runs, enough to with stand a prevent offense scoring drought....securing win at the line; begging for a two half game from KI.....maybe this is the level of competition match ups where 4 can get hot early....

Edit, Fordham is ranked 60th in defending the opponent three point%.....maybe not so good for 4....btw, us 122nd.....

Will promoting this game make any difference? Still doesn't change the fact both teams are middling A10 teams with no tournament hopes. Hardly a game that will generate any sort of student interest.

Could be a good student turnout.

First game since they're back on campus, syllabus week aka no work, and it gives them a reason to drink.

Unless URI starts giving out pints of vodka to the first 1,500 students, attendance will be lackluster and deservedly so when you are barely above .500.

As for game play, Ive watched Fordham a few times, they seem to come out strong but eventually wither away. Somewhat like us I guess but I say its close in the first half then the RHODY RAMS pull away.

Fordham has yet to win a game outside of Rose Hill Gym. They are 0-1 on a neutral court in Brooklyn vs a dreadful Boston College and 0-4 in true road games. They went 8-2 in the OOC versus mostly bad competition. Have started off A-10 play at 2-5 with their only wins at home vs GMU and LaSalle. Have lost at home to Dayton and Richmond and on the road at St Joe's, GW, and VCU.

Rhody should get by Fordham at home on paper. The game at RHG in the Bronx will however likely be a dogfight as is normally the case.

It is not on the regular NESN. It is on their NESNplus station. It is also on MeTV.

If the people in the lower bowl don't show up to 70% of games, they need to be moved the next year. I understand that it might be tough because those are probably people that donate money, but it just looks so terrible on TV.

Whatever the case...those seats should go to people who's tickets are scanned at 90%+ of games. They are the only seats you see on the broadcast so for them to be completely empty between the foul lines like they are tonight is unacceptable.

I don't usually love fans critiquing Xs and Os, but in our zone look the spacing looks good but Christion Thompson just stands in the corner and he should be running baseline from corner to corner. The movement is how you get defenders out of position when the ball swings, which is how you beat zone with open shots or open driving lanes. When he just stands in that one corner, the ball swings and there is no threat to swing it all the way around, so the defenders in the back of the zone can just stay home.

Jon Severe sure has had a rollercoaster career at Fordham.

If I remember correctly, Severe and EC were on officials at URI at the same time when EC committed. Thank goodness it was EC and not Severe...
