Do you think Thorr could get another AD job at school that has FB?

No. Football has been his single biggest failure as an AD. Given he is a football guy, it is surprising and disappointing that he has not been able to even minimally improve URI football.

It should come as no shock that the one job he has been closely linked to was Xavier, a school with no football. I am not sure that even UMass, his alma mater, would make him their AD. His track record at URI with football would make them hesitant given they have major football issues of their own (6-36 in FBS-1A, no conference home after this season, stadium issues, poor attendance).

I can see Thorr leaving soon if URI doesn't make a commitment to upgrade the program.

Same as when or if Hurley leaves, it's important that URI makes a good hire to replace him when that time comes.

The decision to move us, then not move us to the northeast conference, losing those scholarships, really put us in a prickly pickle. That was probably his worst move as our athletic director. We were already losing enough, but that move made us completely unable to compete. Exocet for when we some how beat Delaware 20-0 the other week.

Women's Soccer finished their season with a home loss to Davidson on Sunday. It was the 14th consecutive loss for Rhody. The team's final record was 3-15-1. This follows what was a rebound season (12-5-2) the year before in 2014.
