I'm inclined to agree. I'm not going to lock this in case there is, by some small chance, some information that links him to URI. Otherwise, I think discussion about him can take place in the already established thread: http://keaneyblue.com/viewtopic.php?f=6 ... &start=850

Too many rules, head South young man. Last piece of the puzzle.

Honestly we should be all over him.....he played prep ball in CT and at this point doesn't understand the rivalry.....Dan should send a limo for him tonight....seriously

Even if he wanted to come here, Cools would have to allow him to transfer here and that will never ever happen. And it shouldn't. If Cooley released him from his scholarship to come to URI he should be fired. Just forget about this guy.

NOT HAPPENING! Stop the nonsense.
There has never been a player transferring
from PC to URI or vice-versa.

Just read 10 eye-destroying pages from the Dominican Darkside.
Pathetic responses by posters.

Devastating loss for PC. Would have been the starting center. Huge upside potential.
Recruiting will be interesting.
Narrowed to PC and St joe's 2 years ago as his sister attends St Joe's
Simon was his chief recruiter so does Chukwu opt for Alabama?
The big time programs will be lining up for this kid.

I have to admit to going to the PC board for the second time in my life last night, and shockingly I didn't feel as much schadenfreude as I did sympathy. A lot of those poor SOBs appear to be as psychologically damaged as some of our people.

Noticed that too. They almost made me feel bad for them. Almost....

Yes, you feel empathy for them,
but then you have Sean taking his slaps at Hurley and
that kind of brings a Rhody fan back to earth,

Yes, but we know what sean is. Can't hold him against the rest of their fans.

Psychologically damaged?

TP, you've outdone yourself.

Now, back to the couch.... :D

Just lurked a bit on the PC Scout forum. I thought the main topic thread (over 10 pages now) was OK. Nothing different from what we would be saying here if facing a similar situation. Also read the ARD thread which was full of good comments including a post by our friend Sean.

I think you folks ready to bury PC underestimate how good Dunn really is. Build next seasons team around him and he will absolutely light it up. He is that good.

I hope we bury them in December but any team with a certain top 10 draft pick is dangerous.

I feel no empathy for them whatsoever.

Sean is right about one thing, when was the last time we beat them?

However, without Chukwu, beating them next season just got a lot more doable. He would have been a major problem for us.

Dunn is going to be the all-everything for them. Even so, there will be no excuses come December.

Losing two 7 footers and a 2000 pt scorer is going to be very hard on them next year. The Bental kid is good and the 6'7 shooting guard (i forget his name) is very good. But they will one dimensional. Stop Dunn and there is no one to pick up the slack.

And that is why RJ and any other PC fan that either wants to contribute meaningful conversation or is actually interested in RI hoops should be allowed to post here - and Sean should stay on lifetime ban. All he wants to do is belittle URI on their board, and come here for fodder and police work. He's a sad individual and this board is much better without him. It is humorous that they have a faction of fans that also belittle Uconn, I mean, talk about bringing a knife to a gun fight.

To be fair, we all would be acting the same way if something like that happened to us. However, I do not feel bad for them at all.

They are very fortunate now, that Dunn stayed.

Without him, no chance at an NCAA tourney next season.....

Without him they wouldn't win 10 games next year.

As it stands right now, I think you're probably right.

Dunn will have to stay healthy and have a monster season to get them to the NIT imo.

He may have made a mistake not going pro.....

Agree completely on both counts - limited depth at key positions and lack proven scoring besides KD. Great passer with no scorers around him.

Um, yeah, didn't someone mention something earlier about locking this thread?
I'm missing the 'sarcasm' font here. I really hope that's just an oversight or errant keystroke.

yup, they are looking similar to Dan's 1st year (obviously not nearly as bad though) when it was going to be a long night unless X went off
