ANOTHER one bites the dust! How many are we up to, now?
This is like Chris Kyle shooting down
the bad guys. He had 160.
We could reach 160 at this rate.
Except we're not the bad guys.

Re: 2016 NY SG - Quinton Rose (Temple)
This doesn't surprise me all that much. I doubt we'll get many serious looks from guards this year because of of all of the depth that we have at the guard position. The more alarming part is the apparent lack of interest from the bigs that we've been connected to.

Re: 2016 NY SG - Quinton Rose (Temple)
So which is it, we shouldn't be going after so many guards, or its horrible when we miss out on guards? It seems that either way people are angry with the outcome.

Yeah, we need more SGs. We should recruit an entire team of them
and knee jerk defend the status quo.
Give me a break.

Don't do that thing, it's stupid. Oh my god, I can't believe that they didn't do that thing. I really like the new pictures, though, Adam- nice work!adam914 wrote:So which is it, we shouldn't be going after so many guards, or its horrible when we miss out on guards? I honestly have no idea how you got any of that from I said, but ok. So this goes to my exact question I posted. Earlier in the thread you are talking about how we missed out on another one. And then here are saying we shouldn't be recruiting any more SGs. It seems that no matter which way it goes, the reaction is bad. If he had committed then it would be "why would we sign another SG, we don't need one" and when he commits somewhere else its "another one bites the dust". I don't get that.rodfromcranston wrote:Yeah, we need more SGs. We should recruit an entire team of them

Re: 2016 NY SG - Quinton Rose (Temple)
I agree we don't need any more SGs.
However, based on the overall that's in this section,
ANYONE we seem to be involved with to ANY degree,
seems to be dropping off.
I don't care if SGs cross us off their lists or go elesewhere.
The players we're allegedly involved with, (CIA mode excluded, of course)
have new lists come out, or they commit, and we're not part of either.
I think I'll start writing cryptic comments, so only the Illuminati can
understand what I'm getting at.

Also, any of the offers for '16 shooting guard/wing types that came before the May signings of Robinson and Akele (two such players expected to be on the roster in 16-17) should be looked at with that info in mind.adam914 wrote: I honestly have no idea how you got any of that from I said, but ok. Re: 2016 NY SG - Quinton Rose (Temple)
I love Dan Hurley and appreciate what he's done for the program.
I back that up with my time, money and lungs.
However, I don't think he walks on water. Guess what?
Neither does he.
So, Steve, ever hear of people who take marriage vows,
"Till death do us part" and a year later they divorce?
People are allowed to take a different perspective than previously.
Or don't you agree.
Nice snide comment BTW.
I was a Rhody follower since 1962, long before Dan was born,
and I'll remain so, long after he leaves. (if I live that long)
