WOW!!!. If the Pats beat Tennessee next week, they will be leading the AFC for the Number 1 Seed!!!!

Re: The Patriot Way
Given how the Bears just gagged against the Ravens, this won’t be true if the Ravens win next week.theblueram wrote: ↑2 years ago WOW!!!. If the Pats beat Tennessee next week, they will be leading the AFC for the Number 1 Seed!!!!
But the larger point is who knew the Patriots would be anywhere near this situation five weeks ago. I didn’t think those Bills games would mean anything. Now that second one will probably be flexed to 4:25 or 8:20.

Didn't see that so yeah you are right. But to have the Pats back in the race? Man, and the team looks great now.JimSidd wrote: ↑2 years agoGiven how the Bears just gagged against the Ravens, this won’t be true if the Ravens win next week.theblueram wrote: ↑2 years ago WOW!!!. And Billyboy looks to be the class of the Keaney Blue FFL...kicking butt, taking names and about to go 10-1. Very well played...

Re: The Patriot Way
He is indeed...on the downside, his success is taking away from Pittman....much the same way that Fournette took all the points from Brady Godwin and Evans... Today was that rare opportunity when you get to watch 4 of your top FF players all suck at once, in an otherwise entertaining game.

Re: The Patriot Way
Nice win for the Pats but the Titans kind of beat themselves with 4 turnovers to none , still nice for 6 in a row

Most analysts have this going to the Bills. And it certainly could for sure. But I'm thinking Pats by 10.

Nobody has flowers for the Pats today, huh?

Pats were fortunate to win, but a win is a win right?
I want a Pats GB Super Bowl.
I bet both of them to win it.....a can't lose deal!

Re: The Patriot Way
I don't feel the Patriots were fortunate to win at all. They dominated both lines of scrimmage and exploited a known weakness of Buffalo's defense. That they decided to game plan for the weather and Buffalo seemingly didn't isn't the Patriots problemrambone 78 wrote: ↑2 years ago Pats were fortunate to win, but a win is a win right?

Re: The Patriot Way
The Pats were ultra conservative late in the game....they figured they could keep the Bills out of the end zone and they were right....but the missed 33 yd. FG by the Bills early in the 4th quarter made that possible. Wind or not, they should have made that.
But what the Pats do best, is make less mistakes than their opponents every week, and that's what wins.
Something to do with coaching...lol

Watch out for the Chiefs......they actually are playing good defense, and if they continue to sort out their offense, they are the best AFC team.

Re: The Patriot Way
It's beginning to look like the team who wins it all, will be the team who has the less key players out due to covid once the playoffs start.
Unless things really get bad, they aren't going to suspend/cancel the season.

Re: The Patriot Way
How about Brady getting shut out at home......
I'm sure they will be fine, unless AB fucks up again...with Godwin gone for the season, they can't afford that.

Re: The Patriot Way
Yup. No punts by the Bills …. not good.
I think that game boiled down to the fact that the Bills have Josh Allen and the Pats don’t.
I know he’s still a rookie and has had a decent year, but I feel that the Pats will only be able to go so far with Mac Jones at QB, unless he gets more help. His lack of speed and arm strength will limit the offense.

Re: The Patriot Way
If the Bills play like that the rest of the way they will be SB champs.
But consistency is elusive in the NFL these days.
Surprised the Pats D sucked that bad, though.

Patriots might be lucky to make the playoffs this year. Division is going to be competitive.

Re: The Patriot Way
I think it depends on who you like more to improve - Mac Jones (going from 1st to 2nd year) or Tua (finally surrounded by competent weapons). I honestly don't know. I think Jones will be the better long-term QB than Tua, but the Pats have done him no favors when it comes to offensive talent.

I’m going to guess we go 9-8
I think the max is 10-7 and the worst 7-10 but I will guess 9-8

Re: The Patriot Way
Very fair statement. Really a lot depends on QBs and defense. I've seen SB predictions with the Dolphins. Not sure how much I buy into it. All I know is Buffalo is the team to beat for sure. Also can't sleep on the Jets, they have improved and are no longer a winless team. You figure, if there is any progression positive with Zach Wilson and the team also is better, they can win 7-8 games. With that, I feel all AFC East games are going to be tough fights with no assumptions.SGreenwell wrote: ↑1 year agoI think it depends on who you like more to improve - Mac Jones (going from 1st to 2nd year) or Tua (finally surrounded by competent weapons).
