No, not that at all. They're trying to bring the show to the fan base. It will move around and the Mews will host plenty of shows. It's discussed in the GoRhody release. The final schedule with locations will be released soon.

They've expanded to a weekly format starting this week. This is good news which indicates improving corporate partnership due to increased fan interest and partnership network of Learfield Sports. Everything coming together.

Even last year in the expanded Old Tavern? I thought it was pretty good once the Old Tavern was opened up.

Calling it "Project Pack the House" over and over again. They keep talking about it. Can tell it is definitely priorioty, nice to hear.

Ha... they asked my question. The kid at WHJJ wasn't aware the show was taking calls so I just emailed/tweeted a question. Next time I'm sure they'll have the phone lines ready.

Haha you know what I kinda wondered to myself if that was you, especially when Steve kinda let on that he screwed up the name. Just had a feeling. Nice job and good question!

I cant remember if they used to archive it in the past.

Synopsis, lets see what I remember from the hour...

- Tons of talk about Saturday and needing the fan support. They seemed confident that they had some plans in place to get people there.
- Talked about the LOI guys, Butts and Thompson. Said how Thompson was a knockdown shooter and they think that they really got a good find there. Said he made his visit here and then cancelled all the rest. Said Butts needed to get a little stronger but that they have the right guy in Marshall (strength coach) to get that done and that he has a chance to come in and play behind Hassan while he gets bigger/better. Called him a 4.
- Also talked about EC's struggles a good amount. Dan said that things will get easier for EC as he gets used to playing with these guys and as they start to get more into their gameplan. It will give EC a better chance to know where they need him to be and what they need him to do.
- Said we'll see alot more of Watson and Iffy Saturday. The matchups just didnt dictate it in the first two games. He talked alot about how they just needed to get out of last weekend alive. How you see good teams losing to D2 and lower D1 teams all over the country and they just couldnt let that happen.
- He reiterated alot of the stuff from the Yorke interview to, about how people should feel good about getting behind this team and that good things are coming. He did acknowledge that they are basically "one piece away".
- Also talked about Hassan and how he will be playing inside more due to Hare's loss. Said Hassan plays as the biggest guy on the floor defensively.
- Called Terrell just the kind of player they needed here and that's why they were "desperate" to bring him here. The type of high energy and tough player that fans can really get behind and that he gets the crowd into the game with his play.

I'm sure I am missing some, but thats what I got for now.

Hassan has been forced to cover the 5 here since day one. Maybe one day he won't be our best low post defender.

Totally agree on Terrell, love his demeanor on court. Swagged out.

Oh and he also mentioned Petteway will likely be covered by Terrell and/or TJ. Big test for the freshman.

He also said he knows they have to recruit a big man, and that is confident that he and his staff will get one.

Yeah, hopefully it will be one who's talented……..

It was interesting that in the first game Iffy played before Earl, but in the second game Earl played and Iffy didn't. I take that to mean Earl has moved ahead of Iffy, but I could be wrong.

Yes, this is the after-after-party Monday night at the Mews. We want a really big crowd to thank the players and coaches for bringing this program back from the abyss.

Rather quiet nite in the Mews, I thought, no? Was expecting more of a turnout, at least in the main lower Bar......Bill Koch does nice job....Coach headed home to pack.....

I wish they would send out emails on these. I always forget about these and hear about it after.

Maybe it was the long ride up into town from down the line that held down attendance.....

I regretfully wasn't able to attend. I will just have to thank Dan and staff and players another Monday night.

Planned to be there as well but was not able to go ...will definitely have to catch the next one

Anything meaningful talked about?

I listened to it, it was a good show, spirits were obviously high. Nothing "meaningful" I guess in terms of any big news updates or anything but alot of talk about what a huge win it was and how great the atmosphere was. They talked to Laprey for awhile which was nice to hear all that went into the event leading up to the game.

Line of the night came from Laprey when talking about how big this game was to show the fans what the team is capable of and he said something along the lines of "dare I say, a part of the process..." Gave me a good laugh for sure.
