We win our 1st game of the season matching last year's total wins. And to think the first game was very winable so we could be 2-0.
Last year we lost to Bryant by 13 then beat them this year by 15 = 28 point spread

Tayra Melendez, 5'11" Freshman with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks in a starting role - 35 minutes
Samantha Tabakman 6'3" Freshman with another strong game off the bench with 8 points and 12 rebounds in 25 min - 4 fouls. She should be in a starting role soon if not next game
We have Brown, PC and Rhode Island College remaining so it would be nice to go 4-0 against the State of RI Teams

Some good results being posted by our Freshman Class.

From what I've seen, which is only Madness and game 1, they have 4 good freshwomen on the team. The future certainly looks a lot better than the recent past.....and not only was game 1 winnable, the coach blew that game. They should absolutely be 2-0.

For what it's worth, Central beat Umass fairly convincingly last night.
