Just looking around the NBA and the Memphis Grizzlies currently play Vince Williams Jr. from VCU, Jordan Goodwin from Saint Louis, Yuta Wantanabe from George Washington and Jacob Gilyard from Richmond. Might be the most A10 representation on a team ever. Get Jeff Dowtin in there and we have a whole starting lineup!

The Sixers suck without Embiid, but I got to cheer in person for Dowtin last night, which was pretty cool. He’ll likely get a chance because the whole roster is mostly dead. He looked good out there- always composed and steady and he put up a nice stat line.

So hard for me to believe that Watanabe is a NBA player. I sure don’t remember him being anything close to a dominant player against us. (He is making 2.4 million this year )!

Bassy for the season.
He led Albany in minutes (35.5), scoring (19.7), assists (4.9), and steals (1.9), Plus averaged 4.2 rebs.
Not bad work even if it is the AEC.
Remember we have some transfers from lower conferences plus jucos.

It's just so hard to project what Bassy would have done here because he is basically allowed to play ISO all game where he is now.
Obviously that never would have happened at Rhody. Still finished season at sub 30% from 3. He took 506 shots, that's wild.
In comparison House took the most shots for us and took 170 less.

I think he put in a lot of work during the off-season to improve his game and it paid off.
I am happy for him.

Heck of a player and competitor is Mr Leggett.
Pitt was picked preseason to finish 9th
Pitt finished 4th and finished 5th in NET with a very respectable 44.
Pitt started the ACC Conference season (1-5) and then finished (12-8) as they went 11-3 over their last 14 ACC Games
Leggett is the second straight Panther to earn the nod as ACC Sixth Man of the Year, joining Nike Sibande in 2023. The junior from Prince George's County, Maryland, has averaged 11.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game this season. He leads the Panthers in rebounding and steals (36), while ranking third in scoring and assists. He has scored in double figures 22 times, including 11 of the past 14 games off the bench.

Sincerely happy for Ish Leggett. He always gave it his all and grew a lot as a player. Hate to think he was here during some really down years, but glad he was able to make a good move for him because this season likely puts him on a very different trajectory in life than if he had stayed here (and it makes me sad to write that).

Allen Betrand named MEAC 6th man of the year after averaging 11 points for 21 win Norfolk State. I know he is well traveled, but happy to see him have success this year.

If they want to make the tournament they need to win that game, only issue is it’s against the best team in the conference and a top 4 team in the country.
