A littler dark horse thought but maybe JT goes to the NFL. Played in high school and has the athleticism and build for it.

Yeah, mushed brains and shredded knees make for an attractive future. Even if he plays overseas, he'll be able to play a lot longer, make more money and then be able to play with his grandchildren.

I see Terrell making it in the NBA, probably as a minutes/defense guy off the bench.

He obviously has the size and strength teams want for a guard, and he has the defense.

I can see him being a Tony Allen type of player. big strong defensive stopper at the 2

12 players made the PIT all tournament team. Terrell didn’t make it. I am guessing he will not get an invite to NBA predraft camp.

Recent NBA mock drafts show 13 foreigners, 13 Seniors and 34 underclassmen selected with the 60 picks.
It is very hard to make an NBA roster if you aren’t drafted.
I don’t see Terrell making a roster. It would be great if he did.

If he gets a look it will be in a post-draft workout....summer team, etc. Don't see him getting drafted.

IMO he could potentially stick as a backup PG type...doesn't have the greatest quickness, but is pretty good in PnR and could definitely defend other 1s in the league.

Totally agree here, if he is ever going to make it its going to take a couple years of proving himself first, but he should at least get an opportunity.

If he was 2 inches taller he definitely makes it

Tough for a 6'3 off guard to make it unless you are exceptional. I don't think he can play PG in the NBA

Hope I am wrong

Allen is one of the best defenders of the last 30 years. I would be shocked if Terrell had an NBA career.

As usual, I don't think you have any idea what you're talking about. You're maybe *slightly* overrating Tony Allen, you're underselling Terrell, and you're intentionally taking a comparison about the type of player and making it seem like it was a comparison of the quality of player.

LOL

GBG
Child please.

Jared Terrell can straight up ball.
The guy will get a good chance.
He has as good a chance as anyone coming out of UI since Dawan.
JT is a physical specimen. He's strong as hell and very athletic for his size and his skills continue to improve.
Not only that, he has strong character.

Wonder when we will hear from EC in his attempt to break into the league.

The staff in Storrs is full. EC will probably try overseas. His goal is broadcasting not coaching.

Unless EC is just playing thru a ton of pain related to all of the injuries he suffered over the last few years, he has a professional basketball career ahead of him for sure. Should still be playing a decade from now if his body holds up.

Rather than blocking the people whose opinions you don't want to read...why don't you just write pages and pages about what fools they are to have such opinions, and the audacity they have to express them, and then toss in an insult or two just for good measure? 8-)

Surprised that Jimmy mentioned possibly getting into coaching (NBA or college) after his playing days are over. He had never mentioned that while in college. If I recall correctly, he had interest in getting into broadcasting. I had thought the difficult experience of playing for his father and later seeing his dad forced out had soured him on that profession.

Jimmy is still a class act and outstanding representative of URI.

Brad Stevens loves these kinds of players. Strong and tough and can defend. Think Marcus Smart, Semi Ojeleye.

Gotta love this from the game recap:

“It was a game with minimal defence and a ton of offensive production. Both teams shot over 60 per cent from the field and were generally efficient from beyond the arc.”

I'm confused. JT is obviously there (video in living color) but isn't listed as an invitee/participant.
What is up with that? Unfortunately E.C. has a longer, steeper road still. No invites to any of the
scouting events.

Jared is not at The NBA Combine, he's working out at the Professional Basketball Combine, a secondary combine for players who are hopeful of playing in the NBA but not invited to the official Combine.
