I don't have twitter

Someone (gunboat) sent me a tweet that said coach Hurley believes EC Mathews will be a lottery pick
In 2-3 or three years. I don't think coach is one to exaggerate. Seems that everyday that goes by I get more and more excited about this team. Thank God they are playing 4 games in August this year. I think I might lose my mind if I had to wait for the beginning of the regular season to see this team in action.

Get a Twitter account, Jim.
It's easy, and that's where all the breaking news is, these days.
I can't imagine, after getting my account, not having it.
You'll be glad you did!

And with everything on social media, consider the source.

The tweet was listed here (http://keaneyblue.com/viewtopic.php?p=57067#p57067) as well, Smokinjimit. I believe that's the one you're referring to.
And I echo Rod's sentiments about Twitter.

When the giant Sox-Dodgers trade was moving last year,
the whole thing undfolded on Twitter.
I followed several writers who had inside information, and
in the end, all that was said, was exactly what happened.
Yes, consider the sources, always.
Lot of kooks out there.
I have some interesting followers, too.

Agree with Rod and Smarty. It took me a while to get on the Twitter train. An important thing to note is that you don't have to actually Tweet. You can simply follow anyone relevant to you personally, and you'll only have to look at the news/info that you want.

It is by far the best way to get up to date news. I follow Bobby and Dan Hurley, Peter King. Tom E. Curran, K-Mac and NYTimes to name a few.

Yes, you can follow teams, players, writers, pols, celebs, friends,
or whatever mix you want.
There is also a Direct Message feature, where you can talk to someone without Twitter World
looking in.

I'm a dinosaur without Twitter.

One of the "reasons" why I don't yet have an account is deciding on my all-important handle (account name).

I could go global with the @atptourfan or whatever you all recommend.

I appreciate all the twitter tips but my point was that our coach said that we have a guy who could e a lottery pck in a couple of years. It blows my mind that a guy who's team was terrible last season was able to land a guy like that in his first recruiting class.

Now...how are we going to see those games in Italy on TV? Is this even a possibility? I need to know.

Hi Smokin'

I think in an earlier post in this thread they pointed you to the spot where discussion is taking place on this reported comment by Dan Hurley.

As for the possibility of TV or online video, that doesn't seem likely at this point. Mike Laprey posted an update in the Italy Trip thread on the planned reporting of activity while the team is in Italy.
