Preston was at their game yesterday

Glad Preston is working it (do any of the other assistants recruit!?!?) but URI was not one of the schools he mentioned that talk to him a lot

“I talk to Florida State, Georgetown, VCU, Boston College a lot, so those are the ones that are really, really pressuring me, ” Mann said.

“Everybody wants me to make my decision now, but there’s no way. I don’t really see myself on that level yet, for me to make my decision, and everybody else does.

“I’m waiting to feel like I’m ready,” he said.


There's a huge difference between being pressured and building a relationship……He's waiting for a reason: it doesn't feel right to him.

He's now the #1 ranked New England player for '15, isn't he?

Along with the Maryland offer, Mann also holds offers from Georgetown, Florida State, VCU, Rhode Island and Creighton, with interest from Florida, Northeastern, Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, West Virginia, George Washington, Pittsburgh and Miami.

He's a top 50 player. That would be a major get. Probably a long shot, but with Preston, you never know.

Mann said that Florida State, Boston College, Creighton and URI are some of the main schools involved in his recruitment but that he doesn't have a timeline for narrowing down his options

Add me to that list, also. However, I'm always the last to know anything.

The grand conspiracy is something that those in the know have been floating around for a couple of weeks now. From everything ive heard its def still a 100% possibility. And something that is being discussed internally. I don't want to step on any toes or burn any bridges so basically it goes like this.

Somebody close to Terance, may be looking to relocate a little closer to south county, do a little digging and the dots should connect themselves.

All I know is that if you were able to get JT and then followed it up with a commitment from Terance (ive seen them both play live and they are both immensely talented, undoubtedly I would take them both in a second, but in a pinch I prefer Mann) you could walk into the living room of almost any player in the country at that point and say "look at the facts, in the last 5 years URI has been trending upward in its ability to recruit bigtime players (Jordan Hare #120, Matthews #89 and Martin #115, Garrett #122, Terrell #50ish and Mann #35ish) and you can be the next one"

Mann is an absolute beast of a scorer with skills across the board. as they say "the one constant in life is terance mann scoring buckets". and baseball and rhody missing free throws.....and rhody football losing 10+ games.

Reggie Rankin: The new #BCEagles staff had 4-star forward Terance Mann on an unofficial visit this week.

So if he goes to bc he will play URI ball or if he goes to URI he will play URI ball. Guess it comes down to do you want to play for URI or at URI.

I think this may come down to our best chance to land one of these guys, except maybe Gustys.

Lets hope so.

BC isn't going to get everybody we want, Preston or no Preston.

This kid is close by. Staff should be all over him, until he
decides on where he's going.
Until a new assistant is chosen, Dan needs to personally get involved
