I've gone to bed three nights in a row, with disappointment.
(No, not with my ex-wife!)
Three frigging close games that all went the other way.
Please deport Manu Ginobli!

So funny, Rod! Yeah, threw up in my mouth a little when the Heat won last night. Oh, and Andrew Baily sucks. PAY PAP, bring him back!!

Well, the better team won. They wanted it more, they never gave up, and they got the bounces. Best team in the NHL won. Great series. Good series for the NHL.
Final thoughts for this topic are that the bruins should resign Horton, build on Bartkowski and Krug. Keep the core, keep the coach, and do it again next year.

Thanks for the discussion everyone. It was fun.

You can let Horton go and still have a pretty great team next year.

I hate hockey right now. By next week, I think I'll be fine.

Stanford, anyone?
Chara is no longer the scary stopper of offense.
Age is showing. He was a big part of the offense in 2011.They put
him in front of the net then, to screen the opponent's goalie.. Almost invisible this run.
I like Horton, but he seems injury prone.
They need a real goal scorer.
Bergeron has a broken rib, torn rib cartilige, and a dislocated shoulder.
Whew! Jacoby Ellsbury'd probably retire with those injuries, let alone play the game.

I think they just rode Chara too hard for too long. He is still a premier player. He isn't too old. They just left him on the ice for way too many shifts throughout the playoffs and it caught up to them. I do agree that they need a skilled player that can create opportunities on offense. They have a lot of nice solid players, but nobody that they can depend on for points.

Jacoby asks out of 2 games just from having nightmares about pain like that!

Great hockey although my team fell short......I have great respect for hockey players.......playing through injuries that are serious......even the Blackhawk players were banged up pretty good.....I used to be indifferent to hockey and now it is one of my favorites....

....I just wish the season would end earlier so that important games in the championship are not played in high temperature times which ruins the ice and the speed and beauty of the games.....
