They lost at VCU 55-46 to complete their record at 6-23, 1-13 A-10.

Will next year see a jump to near .500 for the Lady Rams?? One would think it has to be an expectation.

Hey, they won 5 more games than last year.

Next year, they win 5 more, that's 11. Then 5 more the next....it's not going to happen as quick as the men will turn it around most likely, but....

Does anybody think the women will EVER make their Dance?

Only on the coattails of the men [meaning more money for the program], will they ever have a chance.

The lady friars are not much better. We both struggle along

I've seen them play four times this year, in person.
They're like the men's team, in that, they hustle all the time.
Some pieces are there for a better record down the road.
Long way to go, though.
URI's women's team has been down since the days of Linda Ziemke,
which was around when Jim Harrick was men's coach.

Interestingly in the Projo interview with Thorr it came out that the coach is entering the last year of her contract, without an extension being offered. I'd guess she needs to get up around 12 wins next year to return. Looked like a good hire at the time, but ...
