Coming back from an eight point deficit, Loyola Chicago ended the game on a 14-2 run to defeat BC, 71-68. Loyola put in 13 treys on 29 attempts, a 45% clip.

Despite leading most of game, VCU loses a tough one to Iowa State, 68-64.

Loyola still without Alston, not expected back until December.

Nice win for FAU 96-89 over Texas A&M. Noisy crowd followed the team to Disney.

FAU will play the winner of Iowa State - Virginia Tech in the Championship on Sunday

Tonight 8pm VCU (3-2) plays Boise State (2-2). Possible that Penn State and Mike Rhodes (plus Ace Baldwin Jr and Nick Kern Jr) could play VCU if both teams win or both lose today. That would be an interesting match up.

I am actually surprised they just beat BC.
They will probably struggle a bit until Alston returns.
It isn't easy to overcome losing your best player who was also selected pre-season all-conference.
Two of those losses were to FAU and Creighton both ranked in the top 10 at the time.

I always agreed that Loyola was too highly ranked by several of the polls.

VCU is athletic, but they play dumb.

They jacked up three or four 35 foot threes in crunch time. Really awful. On the last play, down three this dude just dribbled in one place and took a highly contested 35 foot three. Dude hadn't made a three all game.

Our bad teams don't seem as bad as they've been, but there's no really good teams either. Just a completely mediocre conference

Yesterday's worst A-10 loss was the 34 point defeat absorbed by Davidson at St. Mary's whose own record to date does not sparkle. Davidson had a horrible shooting night and the Wildcats were killed on the boards.

The A-10 team to watch is Duquesne who lost at Nebraska in a homer job if there ever was one. Keep in mind Duquesne is still without two bigs and the senior forward Tre Williams. I believe they will all return in time for conference play.

Nothing came to mind so I just checked and, so far, I have found one other P4 win: Dayton over LSU.

ETA: Also, Bona over Ok State.

That seems to be it. No top 25 ranked upsets so far.
