So, Rhody women beat a team that went to the second round of the NCAAT 91-40.

#1 Stanford beat them in Stanford, California, on their home floor. 92-49. We beat them their very next game on our home floor 91-40. No big D.

Just another day in the life of URI Women's BB. aka "the Dynasty"

Chantelle Blagrove was the only one who didn't play. I know she did a redshirt last year. Is she hurt?

WOW. 91-40. This was total domination. Maya and Tenin were unstoppable forces. Teisha and Dee Dee led the charge, with Ines and Big Soph running the court like sprinters. Anaelle pounded the glass, Sophie and Eva drained 3s ... Talent and depth was undeniable. Tammi is building something really special in Kingston and it's going to be one helluva season. I hope more folks come to games because this team deserves big crowds!

Sacred Heart was the unanimous favorite to win the NEC.

Ny'Ceara Pryor was named to the preseason All-NEC team after being named NEC Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year last season. We held her to 11 points on 3-14 shooting with 3 rebounds. Sajada Bonner was named to the preseason All-NEC team after being on the All-NEC second team last year. We held her to 5 points with 2 rebounds, and 1 steal.

Sacred Heart is a very good team for that level and we absolutely destroyed them

Announced crowd of 1260. The crowd was announced at 513 for Tammi's debut here. She's built something special and people are taking note but there's a long way to go still
