Don’t really wanna take the time to look, so I could be completely 100% wrong, but I highly doubt Rhody Vault tweeted the Archie news before Pete Thamel.
Also, there was that one tweet a week ago that originally said Johnson would be coming aboard here before any other person/account tweeted it.
Yeah, this person seems to be trying to manufacture credibility to help build a social media following
Does it really matter who broke it first.
What counts is that he is in.

Honestly, that account/person has done more on twitter to promote rhody's history than our own athletic department...he's doing Gods work so I could care less what claims he wants to make. If you haven't seen his stuff he's interviewed all the greats - Kenny, Silk, Tommy, Tyson, Delroy, Penders and more.
Oh he’s been absolutely tremendous with content, but no need to lie and claim you were first on news when there’s literal time stamps on tweets.

Yeah. Kinda weird to take claim to that when it doesn't seem to be true.

Yes, it does matter.
Every sports insider hopes and tries to be first in breaking news.
When people just lie and claim to be first when they clearly aren’t, that’s a tough and bad look.

I haven't gone back to do the research on when the Archie or Johnson news broke.
I don't really care that much, because there is always a little uncertainty until the official announcement is made.
Just ask UMass or Arkansas when they were about to hire Dana Altman.

Or when UMass was definitely hiring Kimani Young. And Mark Schmidt.
Rhody Vault must be ECR... If so I do appreciate the intel. However being humble is always good. As far as the being pretty outspoken about not bringing back an alumni to the staff, I would disagree. Almost all Rhody fans love all of the guys he mentioned. We are forever grateful to what they brought to the program. However I'm in favor of Archie bringing in the most qualified staff we can get right now. If that includes alum great but if it doesn't oh well.

The time is now.... Go Rhody !!!
That was my thought as well. He was the only one who was certain Archie was coming here.

The only question mark is Kenny Johnson I think. Woodward already changed his Twitter header.
As expected

Just stating as a fact that what you want to happen will happen is not a “scoop.” It’s maybe like “manifesting” or something. It’s also why the phrase “even broken clocks are right twice a day” exists. Media people do this too - maybe not with what they want to happen, but they just take stabs based on rumors and conjecture without actual corroboration because the ability to say you “had it first” is worth more in this dumb media landscape than getting it wrong costs you.

Excellent hire by Archie. Looking forward to the press conference tomorrow and recruiting news in the coming weeks. Let’s gooooooo! Get the season started, already!

Bud...calm down, we need the summer to last as long as possible.
I highly doubt there will be one for us to watch. My guess is we'll be getting a lot of quotes and tweets from the usual suspects with a small snippet on tonight's evening news
Take down the Robert Carothers banner and fix the concession stand lines
You are quick Rhowdy. Was just going to post the same about Mr. Sander. Was he currently employed at Indiana or is that an archive listing? It looks like that is a current position as I clicked on roster, go to coaching staff and he is listed as the current director of operations. Good for Arch getting a guy that he likes and trusts as his right hand man.

Why not broadcast? No link?
Media availability does not = press conference. Maybe informal

Maybe concerned a scrum might break out arguing who leaked the info for today’s official announcement first

Seriously, how often is media availability like this broadcast? I wouldn't hate it, but it's just not done
