Unrelated question (maybe)...what level suck is this? Like, how far back do you have to go?theblueram wrote: ↑5 months ago Brown, Wright, Weston and Stewart play a combined 66 minutes and scored 8 points.

Not with most of these players. they do not possess A-10 decent D1 level talent. Archie and his staff have done an incredibly bad job recruiting and putting together a roster.rambone 78 wrote: ↑5 months ago Shaping up to be a historically bad season.
Problem is, I have NO confidence that next year will be any better.
I don’t see any hype around recruits anymore. Absolutely an epic disaster of putting a roster together. The university and its facilities are fantastic. There is a major breakdown here.rambone 78 wrote: ↑5 months ago Shaping up to be a historically bad season.

That's because he had it scoped after they denied his waiver request, and now they're trying to "maybe" Aaron Rodgers him back to the squad. The chance to win bowling will probably be the only way to get people in seats the rest of the season.theblueram wrote: ↑5 months ago The most exciting part of tonight was the guy who almost got a strike bowling across court for $5K.

Three of those players stink/aren’t scoring threats, shouldn’t expect many points from them.
Why are they playing 25% of the minutes then?Rhody15 wrote: ↑5 months agoNot at all.Taylor Swift wrote: ↑5 months agoThis may be the most disappointing stat I’ve ever read for this program. It would have been fantastic if he got the strike & was disqualified because his foot went over the line. That would have been exciting.theblueram wrote: ↑5 months ago The most exciting part of tonight was the guy who almost got a strike bowling across court for $5K.
I figure between that, and $10 into the 50/50 drawing...you stand a good chance of covering your ticket price.Taylor Swift wrote: ↑5 months agoThe chance to win bowling will probably be the only way to get people in seats the rest of the season.theblueram wrote: ↑5 months ago The most exciting part of tonight was the guy who almost got a strike bowling across court for $5K.
Worst defense since Baron's final year, per KenPom... and it's alarmingly close. One or two more bad showings and it could dip below that.bigappleram wrote: ↑5 months ago Last year was the worst offensive team I’ve seen in years

Omigosh.THAT would have been the most exciting thing to happen all night. So, so, so just asking, Question for Archie, why are they here and getting those minutes?
I'm thinking there are magnets on that plastic to hold the pins down. This needs to be investigated. That guy laid a strike right down the middle.spookydog wrote: ↑5 months agoIt would have been fantastic if he got the strike & was disqualified because his foot went over the line. It’s the same with the dice from last year that were weighted so the 7s wouldn’t hit.theblueram wrote: ↑5 months agoI'm thinking there are magnets on that plastic to hold the pins down. They place the pins on a plastic triangle. I think they're lined up so it's impossible for all 10 to fall. It's kind of like going to a carnival. Let me help. The Dark Ages of URI Basketball was Gerry Duh’s two year stint. But Mr Duh beat Brown (they actually didn’t play the other yr he was here forgot why). Duh beat Yale twice and Mr Duh beat Northeastern our next opponent twice in the Dark Ages! Now Archie it’s time for a sense of urgency this shit is going viral bad quickly!!!NYGFan_Section208 wrote: ↑5 months agoUnrelated question (maybe)...what level suck is this? It did for a few minutes. Thanks! k, just wanted to confirm that this is the program's lowest point since sometime before EC went down. Looks like a 'yes.'brady1 wrote: ↑5 months agoLet me help. Get your freaking head out of your arse Archie!!!!
GO RHODY!
I mean, our freshman big man just dropped 12 and 10 in 16 minutes. Our freshman guard just won A10 Freshman of the Week. Zek dropped 18. House and Luis have proven they can play.. Bilau and Fuchs are good bigs, in my opinion. I think he did recruit some decent players. I think under a better coach, we don't lose to teams like Brown and New Hampshire at home. Getting the best out of these players and figuring out how to utilize them is where he's seriously lacking. After Fou dominated in the first half, we should have started him and fed him in the post or elbow and see if he could stay hot. Instead, he returned to the same old thing, and New Hampshire's lead grew and grew.rambone 78 wrote: ↑5 months ago Agree about the recruiting.

Has it become that hard to bring in decent talent to this program?
I still prefer this over the Mitchell twins thinking they’re Durant/dribbling coast to coast/shooting 3s/getting a T every other gameNYGFan_Section208 wrote: ↑5 months agok, just wanted to confirm that this is the program's lowest point since sometime before EC went down. Archie says all the right things and sounds incredibly smart when breaking down our team and our opponents, but there is a disconnect between the players. I posted earlier in the second half that Archie was yelling at House. House looked pissed, and after that conversation, House seemed not to give a shit. Like House, I fear that many guys are checked out... There are murmurs regarding the entire staff's struggle to connect and effectively coach the team. Losing makes this worse but morale is at an all time low..
