Big yikes with this comment.

Gotta agree - who cares if he stays with Pacific or goes pro in Senegal? Why does it matter to you that "he's out of the country?"

I guess, technically, he’s a former player, but a bit of a stretch, since he never suited up for a game.

Some discussion on this board was had as to why he is not at URI back around the time he departed. Some of us knew why. Not basketball related and that is why some feel it’s best he is no longer in the US.

“Best he is no longer in the US” according to Ramster.

For a kid who was not charged or arrested with anything, people make it sound like he committed three felonies and two misdemeanors.

Good lord.

I’m so desperate to be in a gym watching basketball that I’m reminiscing about Gola, where I would normally be tonight. Gola! I’m feeling sentimental about a high school level gym! Maybe I’ll crank up the heat to 90 and pipe in some chlorine, just to set the mood. I did get to meet Bill Murray there, though, so that’s something.

Right, I'm sure both parties are, but why would someone say, that we're better off that he left the country?

Dowtin is the best part of that, no reaction on the make just puts his arms up to high-five the folks under the basket. I remember watching that live and with it running down to 4 seconds and Jeff scrambling way outside I'm like "wtf there's no way we're even getting a shot is there."

I remember watching the Dowtin to Stan play live. Then I went home and watched it in slow motion and was amazed that Jeff didn’t get stripped. His ball control was incredible on that play. Very impressive.

That was one of many times Stan bailed us out. My favorite time was the Davidson game, when he came out of nowhere to block a buzzer-beating breakaway layup that would have lost the game and the season for us.

Hofstra has won 5 straight games including two this weekend over UNC Wilmington

WILMINGTON, N.C. -- — Isaac Kante scored 18 points and Omar Silverio a career-high 17 as Hofstra rallied past UNC Wilmington 82-73 on Saturday, running its win streak to four games.
Silverio scored eight in a 12-2 run midway through the final period when Hofstra took the lead for good, and added a 3-pointer when the Pride reeled off a 9-0 run to pull away. Hofstra shot 57% for the game (31 of 54).

I have no idea how good the Swedish professional basketball league is, but Cyril went for 13 and 8 and 23 and 11 in his last two games. It appears his team is slightly over .500 and is in sixth place is a nine team league.
I assume it’s a lower tier Euro league, but still in all, good for Cyril.

It's strange that there isn't more info on the internet about the European Leagues. It's 2021! Can we get a little more news, stats, photos, video etc? With the search results I get, it's like I am dialing up and connecting at 14.4 all over again.

To be fair, he's only gonna be on the poster because he's trying to play defense. :) Jalen Rose always jokingly boasts that you can't find a picture of him getting dunked on, because he would just run for cover if a guy got that deep in the paint on him.

Anytime you watched a GW game when he was there nobody even talked about his defense. So dumb.
