Just get me to Saturday in Brooklyn and the A10 semis and I’ll be happy!
Seriously though. If Archie gets the right pieces I don't see why it can't happen to us in a year or two. I'm not ready to say next season is "back to square one" until we know the final roster.

These guys were 4-22. 4-22! In the worst conference in America! They lost to Hartford this season who will be in D3 soon!

Give me Battle, Pride, Leggett back and a few others kids and let’s get it moving.

He brought his D2 kids with him. And people in hoops know high level D2 and low major D1 is not all that different.

Rhody09 wrote: 1 year ago Interesting facts from Reddit:

FDU's defense was ranked 360th on KenPom going into the tournament. There are 363 Division I teams.

FDU lost to KenPom #362 Hartford. They lost to Stonehill and Queens who were Division 2 schools this time last year. They hadn't even announced their D1 moves yet.

FDU finished third in their conference this year behind two teams not eligible for D1 postseason due to being recent DIl call-ups.

Their conference was the worst conference in basketball this year. It has never won a round of 64 game in its history.

FDU did not even win the conference tournament.

FDU had one win above Q4 all year. One.

This makes UMBC over Virginia look like a 10-7 upset.
Great post, thanks!

Good tourney for URI connections in a roundabout way:

-Twins still in
-Toppin still in
-Hurls still in
-Cox still in
-Nate Oats still in
-Former URI assistant Cooley about to be paid by someone. But he'll always know who's #1

Somehow I forgot about that URI vs. Nevada game during the Hurley era...

But Uconn vs Arkansas (if it happens) would still be two coaches who are always losing their minds against the refs.

The twins weren’t selfish players. They actually played the game in the right way in lot of ways. They were completely under coached at Rhody. Just look at how many threes Makhi took this year for 1 data point. With 2 guys of that size and ball skills in our league we should performed much better. But IMO they aren’t in the same camp as say Brayon. They are more like Fatts. Improperly coached.

They were the same player at a position that you can only have one at a time.... but Rhody staff couldn't figure out the math?

I, for one, an glad that these portal shenanigans and NIL have clearly helped power teams like Princeton and Faintly Dickersons. /s

Snark aside, more player movement means more competitive teams. Of the last 10 NCAA championship winners, only three remain in this field - Baylor, UConn and Kentucky. It seems likely the eventual champion will be a team that either hasn't ever won a title, or hasn't in the past 25 years.

Kentucky NET 26

#15 Kansas State
#28 Kentucky

Kentucky favored by 3 points.

Even giving 3 points I like Kentucky in this 2:40 tip-off today
