It wasn't perfect obviously, but lots to like about the effort and energy out there in the first half. Hopefully we can put together a complete game and close this one out.

Fuchs has played better than Tyson by a mile. You’re not seeing him objectively at this point lol
Fou should be ahead of both of them.

Green isn't the most talented player ever, but there is something to be said about experience, and he has a ton of it.

Not to mention he's an outside threat.

Great commercial reminder - best family arena atmosphere in Rhode Island! No WiFi to distract your kids, long lines to prevent your kids from eating bad food, no replays in case something naughty happens on the court, no mean words from fans! What an experience!!

I feel like this whole team is playing with different energy.

I’m not sure if it’s David Green, Archie changes, or the break..but this should be renewing some hope for conference play.

It’s Green. His versatility, skill set and presence were all sorely needed.

More Foumena and Fuchs at the 5 less Brown. But happy with everything else from Arch today.

I thought the ridiculing last year was uncalled for, I am questioning why we replaced Bassy for Wright and figured I was the only one because no one has said a negative thing about Wright on this board.

Saying negative things is different from ridiculing. I don’t need people to say Wright isn’t a D1 player, but saying some negative things is fine for a message board. A couple people on here have no problem saying negative things about Fuchs (a true freshman who is a double double machine). Just looking for some consistency.

Maybe people have seen the climate change with the NCAA and they are less likely to criticize players these days, knowing full well they can leave whenever they want. Bassy included in that. Sometimes it's timing.

Maybe people are so punch drunk from losing that criticizing players is low on the priority list.

Seems like a weird time to bring it up, with URI on the verge of its first win in what feels like 57 years. FWIW, I don't think Wright has really shown much this year, but neither had Thomas in his two years at URI. It was defensible to "churn" that spot on the roster a bit, and it wouldn't surprise me if Wright transferred down after this season as well. Thomas always attracted more attention - positive and negative - because of his status as a Rhode Island high school prospect at URI. Albany seems like a much better fit for him.

Agreed. I felt like from the start, that if Wright played like gangbusters, that he would probably end up transferring closer to home. Maybe the opposite is true. Or maybe he'll end up staying and just get better. All the options are wide open in this new NCAA.

Northeastern obviously isn't a great team, but it's good to get a W against anyone at this point. I suspect that the lineup out there to finish - Estevez, Montgomery, House, Green and Fuchs - is what we go with going forward, with Kortright first off the bench. Those six were the only guys to play 20+ minutes today.

The timing was because he started both halves of this game today and finished with 0 points and 1 assist.
