Coming into the season he was our best player, the ‘cornerstone of the rebuild’. Now you think he’s garbage and want him out?? If we go anywhere in the next 1-2 years, Freeman and Weston have to lead the way. Whether you like it or not, we need Freeman…and we need him to play well. Everything he’s going through is mental, so hopefully he can pull himself through. If not, it’ll be a painful year.

The best player on teams have the ball in their hands the majority of the time, leading to more turnovers some of the time. Dowtin obviously being an exception.

Bad comparison but look at the best players in the NBA.

Most have higher than you would like turnovers.

Carey can create and do things nobody else on this team can do.

I praised Leggett his freshman year, he stunk last year (everyone will agree to that), and he’s much improved this year.

Harris stunk all three years here. A complete zero.

Ish is a player who needs a lane to get to the hoop. Last year the coach played 2 6’10 cinderblocks that clogged any chance of him getting to the rim.

Tough situation because Bassy is a good passer and takes care of the ball but he can’t shoot well enough consistently from the field or the line. If we had a bevy of scoring options on the team we could get away with him at the point. But, we don’t.

Not much to say about this game. Move on to the next and try to improve. Been a very poor start to the year, but hope to see some development. Nice to see Weston and Freeman get some buckets. Need to improve defense as a team. Made KSt look like a final four team.

The most important thing is Bray Freeman finally showed flashes in that 2nd half. If he can be our second scorer next to Ish we can actually win some games.

This was Weston’s best game. He was very active and was one the few players that matched their athleticism.

Bilau is going to be a nice piece. Love his size.

Carey played well.

I knew this was going to be a blow out. Let’s win tomorrow!!

The losing doesn't bother me so much, I expected us to struggle to win games this year (hell I predicted the worst overall record in the contest), but I didn't really expect us to look this bad doing it. But it is early, and still holding out hope that we at least start to look a little better as the season continues. Long way to go still.
