The assistants are just fronts for the operation.....they agree to take the fall if something is uncovered....but this isn't the NCAA doing the investigation, it's the feds....so too bad so sad.....

He was already essentially fired, but his contract stipulates there is a mandatory period of days when the UL board of governors must meet and officially execute termination of his contract -- for cause. Let's see the huge legal battle now over that $40M+ Pitino thinks he is still owed.

They bought into him hook line and sinker.
Petrino and Pitino? They knew what they had and what they were getting signing the contract.
There are shows covering how Louisville went from metro commuter to what it is today, which is a school built around big time athletics.

Interesting article under the Larranaga story. Oregon being sued by a recruit who tore his ACL during a workout the Ast Coach was putting him thru on his official visit.
