Listening to talk radio yesterday a caller was critical of Cora for removing his starters too soon. There is a lot of criticism of the bullpen which is deserved, however, Cora could get more innings out of his starters and put less pressure on the bullpen that is showing signs of collapsing completely.

And what is Duran doing batting 2nd? He is hitting .200. Yesterday 0-4 with 3 K's

and why is Yairo Muñoz at Worcester? Bring him up - this line up needs some hitting in 3 of the 9 slots.

I think we are gonna get one of the wild cards , I don’t see Rays blowing this lead
Our rotation of Sale , Nate E, ERod , Pivetta and Houck looks solid enough and the offense should improve with Schwarbs back in the lineup

I have reciprocated the actions of the Red Sox brand organization. I could care less about them just as they could care less about the RI market and its area residents they chose to abandon. Their decision to focus nearly all their energies in the single state of Massachusetts has resulted in me in turn redirecting my interest. The Bosox and their AAA team can lose every game for all I care.

Did anyone see this kind of year for Hunter Ren'throw'? Too lazy to look, but guessing his stats are on par with JD Martinez, for a fraction of the price... Great game for him last night.

Serious up and down season this year, but if you lose the wild card game, to me, that's not really making the playoffs.

Yes. Huge HR and throw to 3rd base.
Glad Cora went 7 innings with Eovaldi. Would like to have seen Eovaldi go all 9 but we know that’s not happening.

Way better on D...but I'd still take Manny or Johnny. When he played for the Sox, Manny was one of the few guys that, if you were flipping through channels and he was at the plate...you waited.

Going in wrong direction at the worst possible time. 3 straight losses to the Yankees at home and then last night lost to Baltimore as Sox got only 3 total hits with their ace Chris Sale pitching.
Must win vs Baltimore today.

Seattle had won 10 of last 11 games and now tied with Dox for Wild Card. They play Angels at home last 3 games. Sox at Washington. Baltimore at Toronto.

I can't watch that enough times...living in CT for a long time, didn't always have the Sox on radio, so had to listen to him...was brutal. He was more focused on his shtick than his craft...

And to top it off we ended their radio broadcasting season and the Yankee players, coaches and fans can all go fishing while we go to the playoffs.

They got their a's kicked while the rays ate popcorn in the dugout and yucked it up when areola stole home. Hopefully, there's some fight left in the Sox (maybe some Sale messages) and Raffy didn't hurt his wrist too badly last night.

I do remember that Sale is coming back from TJ. I just thought the cockiness of the rays the night before would have stoked some kind of fire in him. I didn't expect him to overpower and strike everyone out...but you don't have to be 100% to make hitters uncomfortable and there was nothing like that... Great win, but that part was disappointing...to me.

Pivetta and erod need to step it up.. sale needs an extra day.. over 10 era with 4 days rest. Under 3 era with 5 days rest. You can bet he will be begging cora for the ball.. those other 2 are key and offense needs to keep it going. Pitching is not this teams strength. If they hit they have a shot

My son in law woke me up from a nap at 430.. said I'm coming to get you.. we're going to Fenway.. his dad wasn't feeling well so I became replacement player.. not as electric as world series game my wife gave me for 60th birthday in 2018 but still a blast. Go sox
