Trailing the entire second half on its home court, Boston U. edges lowly NEC Merrimack, 61-60. on the strength of a Javonte McCoy three-pointer with 2 ticks left on the clock.

Fordham squeezes out a 2OT win over Central Connecticut, 89-83. Message to Fordham - do not agree to playing a NEC team on their home court.

Dayton beats a good Belmont team 63-61 to win the ESPN Events Invitational

Malachi Smith wins the MVP. Only a Freshman. DaRon Holmes was the runner up for MVP and he is also a freshman for Dayton.

Great Achievement considering Alabama and Kansas were also in this Tournament and expected to get to the championship game.

Ramster, I really wish the A10 would of nabbed Belmont along with Loyola, instead of them going to the MVC.
I think they would of been a great fit, plus adding the Nashville market.

I didn't think it would be worth watching.
The Dayton/Belmont game was great TV.

Bryant lost in a tough one in OT to Dartmouth and Brown took a nice road win at Quinnipiac,.

Also, previously winless Alcorn State got a win at Milwaukee, 61-57. The URI game with Milwaukee on December 13 is now a recognizable landmine.

In September, Villanova announced that Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree would stay on scholarship but be medically ineligible to play, pretty much ending his basketball career. He’s playing tonight against La Salle. Is this some kind of Big 5 swan song or did he miraculously heal?

Jay Wright, sticking with the no-suit thing, surprisingly. Big East coaches seem to be split on that.

From an article today, it sounds like he's been used as a practice player, and he's been healthier than expected. Reading between the lines though, I kind of expect his role to be "play 10 minutes in a blowout," vs. logging major minutes when the Big East schedule starts.

Bryant was favored over Dartmouth by 7 at home, loses by 2. Say it ain't so Grasso.

Milwaukee was favored by 10 over Alcorn State at home, loses by 4. Milwaukee has now lost 4 straight versus the point spread. Record 1-5.

Except for the gag job against Florida Gulf Coast, this is just what Cox is hoping for.

Build a gaudy record against stiffs, and hope to pull the wool over Thorr's eyes to keep his job.

Only half kidding, it might work.

Milwaukee played the last 2.5 games without their top player and 5*recruit Patrick Baldwin Jr due to an ankle injury. The same ankle that cost him missing almost his entire senior HS season.

Baldwin played/DNP:
11/9 North Dakota - Homecoming - 37min
11/13 Eastern Kentucky - 37 min
11/18 @ Florida - 34 min
11/23 Bowling Green - 8 min
11/24 Yale DNP
11/28 Alcorn DNP

Upcoming
12/2 Youngstown State
12/4 Robert Morris
12/10 @ Colorado
12/13 URI

Still disappointing for Milwaukee to lose by 4 at home while being favored by 10 and overall record to be 1-5.

We should definitely beat Milwaukee even with Baldwin
