Not a great first half, but I'll say I don't mind them not calling some of the fouls down low against them if they also don't call them on us - but they are. I'm not blaming the refs - we need to play better, but there were a few times down low that were obvious uncalled fouls that they did call on URI on the other end. We need to play much more in control in the 2nd half and we are lucky to be only down 6 after that last 2 mins.

We might win this game, but this trend of never being prepared for a game is unfortunately telling.
Why Harris is all of a sudden a focal point of the offense is beyond me. He hasn’t developed a bit since freshman year.
We’re a really talented JV high school team from a fundamental team basketball perspective.

Sorry guys but I am convinced we suck. About 6 blocked shot and UMASS had 6 steals most of which were gifts. Breakaway lay up at end of half was inexcusable. Looked like Harris loafed on the way back. His 1st half performance was awful.

McCall coached circles around Cox that half. Umass looked more prepared and hungrier...Let's hope Cox can come up with some adjustments, and we can get the W. We should not lose to this team..

Indeed across the board.
UMass is treating this like a rivalry game and we are not.
We all must not be surprised because literally every game in that black hole of an arena is a mess.

Betrand picked for breakaway plus another Turnover

Phenomenal defense by Leggett to draw the turnover by Fernandes in the backcourt
Mitchell came to play for RHODY tonight
Betrand shouldn’t start the 2nd half after that sleepwalking 1st half performance
Leggett needs to play more - queue the broken record

How bout that play by Walker. He makes some good plays but then gives a new definition to beyond awful. He was just all alone for a lay up and turns it over.

So frustrating to cut it to 1, then have it get back to 4 with FTs coming (I think). Need to keep it close then pull ahead like against VCU.
