For those rationale fans, some perspective. We are playing a Richmond team that has been playing for 3-4 YEARS together. We are playing like a team that has only played 9-10 GAMES together. And we are showing some signs of clicking late in the half. Those will come in spurts for the remainder of the season....
No excuses DC our talent level is heads above the Nitwits that went to UR. Let’s kick ass in the second half!!!!

Fatts is playing great when he doesn’t throw up a bad 3. Just stop doing that and we’d have a few more possessions per game.

I had to log on to ask why they just blew the whistle on that steal by Fatts? the refs just beat us for 2 points, that's crap.

Sheppard, Johnson, Leggett and Betrand can shoot the 3 ball with accuracy
Fatts is not even close. Now 1 for his last 21 and his misses are off badly
Why doesn’t he feed the shooters on the team who are hitting 40+% on threes?

Lol I hate overreacting to one play but thought the same thing. Feels like he always has the ball in his hands for a guy with such little touch

Not just that play, he’s had two entry passes down to Mitchell that weren’t remotely close.

How many terrible unforced passes can we possibly make? Unforced turnovers kill us. No T on Golden though.
We have our 2 bigs in th e gane at the same time-why?

Mitchell and Golden have been going back and forth for a few minutes now, wouldn’t be shocked if a double T is eventually called.

Can everyone get over the timeouts? I don’t love it either but it’s clearly some Cox philosophy. Either a journalist asks him about it at some point or we just stop acting “surprised” everytime he calls one

As a coach you pull your hair out. You can stress not to make dangerous passes but it is up to the players to value the ball.

Rhody winning the glass and shooting pretty well but turnovers are prevemting them from getting over the hump. Every time they get close Richmond pulls away again.

The turnovers and shot selection is criminal. Cox better find an assistant who can help him install an offense next year or he’s not going to be a head coach for long.

If you described these two teams and then simulated the game it’s exactly what you would expect:
Experienced team with chemistry takes on more talented team with little experience playing together

You can’t coach turnovers. THEY AREN’T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. The problem is EVERYONE ON THE IS MAKING THEM!
This was a winnable game. Turnovers decided it.
