That Mitchell injury was odd. He kicked feet with the guy in front of him and didn’t look too bad but obviously it was worse than it looked as he couldn’t put any weight on it.

Ya I was yelling exactly that at my tablet screen. Anytime they have a chance to push in transition it should be Fatts leading it, especially over Malik.

WKU has a great gameplan for Fatts/Shep. Either Malik needs to be more involved in bringing it up the court or bring in another ball handler

Its very odd how hot and cold the whole team is.

Carey was a big difference maker.

Keep him in there, figure out how to stop the ball in transition and don't just throw balls willingly out of bounds and we can win.

Can we run some different offensive sets / plays? How about the ball coming out from down low to an open 3 point shooter.
Walker should be banned from taking 3 point shots.

Totally agree that was ugly basketball. 11 turnovers each team. Some shots not even hitting the rim. Let’s hope it was the early start and URI wakes up after the half. Scary think is Bassey and Williams each had 2 fouls and didn’t play many minutes for WKU.

Was very optimistic after the Seton Hall effort that this team and coaching staff was starting to figure things out and we'd see a steady improvement each game. We've gone the complete other way with the past 2 efforts vs Wisc and this first half. Slow starts, awful turnovers, awful half court sets, awful fouling on every possession, awful use of time outs, We certainly do not take advantage of our strengths especially against a team like WKU who is doing everything in their power to give us this game. I see a .500 team in URI who will win some unexpected games and certainly have a few losses to lesser teams. We are who we are.

oh and please give Martin's minutes to Ish, not sure why he is starting on this team, not sure what his value is to the team so far, was hoping he'd fill the Tyrese gap, but that doesn't appear to be in the cards.

We saw a Three two press on two guards 10 times if once we never once found the uncovered guy in the corner (DJ at least 3x). We need to make in game corrections and not wait until halftime.

I think he's doing an overall acceptable job on D...hedging effectively without fouling. Will take it so far.

Nice job by Walker, Harris and the Mitchells to hold Bassey to 5 points, 3 rebounds and 1 block to go with 2 fouls.
Walker and Harris had 8 rebounds between them

Leggett with 2 nice offensive rebounds. He needs more minutes.

Johnson needs to get more shots off. 2-2 from 3P.
