We needed a timeout as soon as they started that run.

After that second basket and they had everybody in the building standing up.

CALL A TIMEOUT.

As long as we stay poised we got this.

They CANNOT score in the halfcourt.

All in all that’s a solid half.

That run was distressing. But a 7 point lead at the Siegel center is fine by me.

Jeff’s 3 made up for some of his issues but man oh man what happened to him?

Front court is playing phenomenal. Can’t ask for anything more than what we’ve got.

Toppin's elbows were at or above the rim on that press-breaking dunk. Highlight reel material. Thee baseline camera from the other end had a great angle on it.

Nice timeout by David Cox in the last minute to set up the play where Russell threw to Langevine at the top of the key then Langevine found Dowtin open for the Corner 3P.

Odd Statistic URI has 5 Assists with 4 by Martin, 1 by Langevine in that last minute of the half. Dowtin and Russell with Zero Assists??

Langevine showing why he is the leading A10 Rebounder - 8 BIG 1st half rebounds plus 3 blocked shots plus only 1 Foul so he is in great shape for 2nd half

Dowtin the games leading scorer with (4-6) FG (2-2) FT for 11 Points plus 4 big rebounds

Toppin with 3 rebounds plus a block. The URI Big Men are intimidating VCU and making them alter many shots

I was shocked to see that tbh.

Maybe I just expect a little more from Jeff because the 10 sec violation and TO in the lane were tough to see.

But him creating offense with some defense is huge. Need it.
