PC favored by 16 over NJIT
5’8” (if that) Zach Cooks will be an interesting match up with Lawane Pipkins. Cooks is an explosive scorer and good 3 point shooter who had a bad 3 point shooting first game. Will be interesting if he gets hot today. Hope so anyway.

Seton Hall plays most of its games in the Prudential Center in downtown Newark. The Stony Brook game was played at their on campus Walsh Gym which holds 2600.

How does the school deal with season tix holders? Imagine if we played a game in Keaney?

Teams who do that typically separate those tickets from season ticket packages and give priority based on donor level.

So RJ, the best donors get to sit on pine in a gym with 2600 people and watch Stony Brook? Not very classy.

Their first game against Wagner was played at the on campus 1,665 seat Walsh Gym as well. It is similar to the old Keaney with a stage at one end. All their other home games going forward will be played at the Pru in nearby Newark.

As much as I love the gym, and seen many many games there, I wouldn't go backwards.

Overall...maybe, but when they were closing out the first half only down two...they (Davidson) definitely looked like they were going to be a handful to play.

Bigger question...now that we know his bro plays for Davidson, will Danny Dimes be at the Ryan Center on Jan 8?
Pretty sure the Giants season will be over by then...

ETA: And if he is...will anyone recognize him?

The first week of the college basketball season closes with only one game of interest on tap. In the A-10, Saint Joseph's visits Old Dominion for a 2 PM game.

Four more A-10 teams held their home openers with only Davidson left to hold their home opener. Not always true, but generally home openers draw big crowds.

Richmond 6,602
Dayton 13,407
La Salle 3,135
George Washington 3,677

I saw that earlier. Had no clue they moved to D1 NEC conference

I live 20 mins away from campus, might have to head to a few games, maybe when they play Bryant

UVA V JMU at 6 o’clock if you’re interested to see a suffocating defense. Will JMU score 40? On ESPNU.

Nice to see freshman Jaylin Hunter have a good game for ODU. His dad, Kenya, is an assistant at UConn who is currently on leave from the team due to a medical issue.

Over/Under 124.5. UVA may score 60. JMU will be lucky to get 50 or even 40. Definitely under.
