Yep, it almost seemed like he was saying "I could have called a foul". So I guess he is admitting he made the wrong call on purpose to save Cyril from a foul?

Ref knew he was wrong about the call. His excuse was would you rather have a foul...but Cyril didn’t foul the kid.

As bad as the offense has been, we need to really step up the defense to win this game, especially with Evans being out. Seeing a lot of the early season type stuff where guys are blowing assignments on defense and then they turn and start blaming each other. Cox needs to clean that up for the second half.

Giving us some credit, VCU went on a 6-0 run on back to back well contested threes.

The killer was poor shot selection that led to it. 6 points in 28 seconds is the difference in the game right now.

Hopefully this is something Cox highlights in the locker room.

Fortunate to be down just three at half. Totally up for grabs. Need CL and the rest to step up.

Hope Evans plays again this season. He looked to be in a lot of pain. Tough point in season for him to go down. VCU is fortunate an at large is already a given.

Playing man against a spread offense is tough. They have been knocking down their 3’s. Time to up the pressure, less space, playnoff the screens.

cant complain much about that half.

played bad for stretches, and turnover bug
in danger of getting it broken open and pulled themselves back into it instead

all in all, down 3 at the half given their play is fine by me

They have taken 7 more shots then us and are 6-14 from three. Let’s hope they fall back to their average of below 30%. We are shooting the 3 below our average at 22%, 2-9. Fatts threw up at least 3 bad ones.
