All things considered, not such a bad half. Need to get our starters back out there and off to a strong start. Let's see if the refs let them play in the second half. 29 damn fouls!

First half observations...

- VCU is like the 90's Knicks meet the Seattle Seahawks. The refs can't possibly call ALL of the fouls you commit. Slow down the game to suit the brooding style of play. Very frustrating.

- Free throws! The only reason we're still in the game even though that last empty trip by JT hurt.

- A Berry sighting! He is what he is but its glad to see him being used.

- EC and Hass in early foul trouble, as usual for Hass. I agree with Dan's decision to sit them.

- Was there any doubt that shot clock expiring, off balance jumper by a guy that averages 8 ppg was going in? Hopefully they used up their "scrub clutch jumper" ammo that all teams seem to have in their arsenal against us.

- Gotta cut down on 2nd chance points for VCU.

- I like JT at the point. He more physical than Jeff and seems to get the ball up the floor quicker.

- KI...not his best half.

- I thought Langevine got screwed on a few calls.

- Down 1, we'll all take it. Are we the guys that lose their paycheck at the Blackjack table every week, only to come back for more? It certainly feels like it, but let's hope that for whatever reason this half goes in our favor, that we get dealt a few key Aces and wind up back on the bubble. Go Rhody!

When I made this post it was at the 14 minute mark and we had 0 team fouls and were up 13. In the next 8 minutes they have called 9 fouls and the lead is down to 5. Oh and EC didnt step out either.
