that was a horrible foul by Thompson with the shot clock to 1 second and just give Gibbs 3 at the line. Not a high IQ play.

In general I agree, but that was a terrible pass from Stan. He rifled it right at his feet. But yeah, even a good pass he can't catch it anyway.

Good move by DH to put Terrell back in the game with 2:20 left. Within seconds he gets the old fashioned 3 point play on a nice drive.

Terrell also drew the second foul on both Gibbs and Aldridge on those two plays. Huge.

Some good things that half...Dowtin stepping it up. EC and Jared closing strong.... we need to make our FT's and limit our fouls.

I want to get Martin going early in the second half. He had a bad first half. We are going to need his offensive contributions down the stretch especially after Davidson adjust to our guards.

First half observations...

Positives:
- EC was quiet to start the game, seems to have found his stroke.
- Another good showing from JD. More and more confidence. Scoring in different ways.
- Perimiter D has been solid for the most part.

Neutral:
- Stan plays great D but is so careless with the rock.
- Doing a nice job on Gibbs. Strangely enough, Jeff seems to be doing the best job on him.

Negatives:
- Hass follows up one of his best games with a bad half of basketball.
- Shot selection. If I never see a Nikola 19 footer with 23 seconds left on the shot clock id be OK with it. Or passing up 2 open 3's in favor of a contested CT runner.
- Falling asleep on D. Way too many easy buckets on simple drives and backdoor passes. CT also got lazy on a close out and Gibbs knocked down a 3.
- FREE THROWS!

We'll all take the lead. Gotta play our game in the 2nd half, keep pressuring the ball but be smart in the trap. Too slow to close out or man the paint. Their bigs will knock down the short ones.

Dodged a bullet with the Jared foul trouble. Glad to see him still take it hard to the hoop twice down the stretch (and knock down the free throws).

This would be a HUGE momentum builder! We need it! Go Rhody!

Within a 1 minute time period Dowtin found EC for a 3 on the inbound pass then not long after EC drove inside and dished outside to Dowtin who hit a 3. Good to see the veteran and freshmen passing and shooting like that.

JT looked like a man in those last 2 mins. Huge difference! EC playing like the OLD EC! Dowtin stepping up big time!!
Keep things rolling and get Hass going and should be a win!

Keep Akele on the bench. Kid just continues to produce nothing and is a liability on both ends.

Hurley clearly understands how little margin is left and is being more aggressive playing guys in foul trouble. If he can morph into our version of Playoff Francona I wouldn't be hurt

Too early to call but I love the stuff Dowtin does.

I saw being within 1-3 of Davidson as a good half going in and as the half started. Now I'm scared. Huge half coming up.

Whats wrong with Thompson? JUMP! SEE THE BALL!! (I'm a Thompson guy).

One of the more frustrating things this year has been Martin's inconsistency. Seems to be every 1/3 games he shows up.

Average fundamental 6'8+? he might dominate both ends against us.

We have to get some points in the paint.....this is do or die.....Hass is a senior he should be able to play with 3 fouls. We can't get down here with a team that's good at the line
