My rant was more in reaction to Callahan's going on, that Aaron Rodgers must be gay,

Wonder if he'd say that to Mike Ditka?
Somehow, staches got associated with old porn stars, or gay guys.
Burt Reynolds and Tom Selleck are neither, and George Clooney has one in
his new movie.
Who knows?
Rambone, ask Blue Man. Better yet, that pic came when my daughter posted a bunch of

Here's the comments on that picture:

Rod Carri Thanks Jay! I told you to keep yours. You never change if you grow one! That pic is from 1997. Andrea was at URI basketball camp. I hit three from 3 that day at Keaney Gym. Of course nobody was guarding me....

I love Freddie Mercury, Queen was 'all that' when I was twelve. Great set of Rock n Roll Pipes Freddie had. And don't feel bad in the least, my celeb doppelganger is Gilbert Gottfried.

tough to score with that shot selection. too bad playing great defense.

look completely out of sync on offense. Gil and EC seem to have the matchups to exploit but are not getting many good looks.

This game really turned when Gil went to the bench with 2 fouls. St. Louis was already on a mini run after EC missed a three that would have put us ahead and we turned it over a few times and they scored off our turnovers. Then Gil got the foul and we basically got stepped on the last 5 minutes. Still in the game with these FTs to end the half.

Edit: That was a lousy way to end the half.

we have to get Gil the ball, his whole game feeds off his offense it seems.

EC also is a matchup problem for them. DH has to find ways to exploit that.

I think we got hurt by Munford acting a little bit to try and get the call. Could have really used the refs calling the new rules though.

Jett scored 2 and-one buckets at the rim where he blatantly initiated contact and got the call. on one he elbowed Hassan but the foul was on us. The refs let him get away with the only thing he could do, turn it into a football game. I never blame the refs but that was BULLSHIT! agree X was looking for contact, but that doesn't mean their wasn't any. they call that all year but not there. really needed that win.

That is a tough one. However, I can tell you that I like this team now. I didn't always like them this year, but even though it didn't happen right away I think that extra practice they got in December really helped. They are playing like a different team right now. They may still not be a great team, but they are a likable team and I'm going to enjoy rooting for them the rest of the season if they continue to put in the type of effort they have the last few games. I know they won't win every night and that is OK.

Refs (including my guy Mike Stephens) did hurt us and Jett gets away with a lot of physicality at both ends. It sucks but still proud of our effort.

The end certainly sucked, but there's still a lot to like with how the team is playing. Hurley absolutely has pushed the right buttons lately and the team's compete level has been much better, especially these last two games. If they can continue to play like this throughout the league schedule I think they'll be in good shape.

Xavier Munford should not have the ball in clutch time. EC should.

Jarrelle rieschel should be used as frequently or less than matthew butler.

why did tj come out for 6 minutes to let jett take over the game?

Why did we switch to zone for one play?

We suck at layups.

We double suck at game management.

We quadruple suck at free throws.

Another game that we beat ourselves.

This team will be a handful come Barclay's.

No one will want to play us.

One thing though: How is it, we're at HOME and we can't get a call when we need it? Especially since Jett gets the contact call at one end, and Munford doesn't with the same thing?

When it comes to refs, whenever they're bad, like they are most nights, we get the short end of their bad most of the time.

And Blue Man, you're right. EC should have the ball at the end. He can get to the rim. Nobody else can.

TJ was out for too long, I'll agree also. StLouis missed a ton of layups too, and they weren't so hot at the line either.

Reischel gets PT because we don't have much of a bench. Simple as that.

Patience. If you made a list of things after the games we were playing 45 days ago it would have been double (or quadruple!) the length. He's working on it. It is clearly coming.

X played a near perfect game, outside of his 1 missed FT, we aren't anywhere near that game if not for his performance in the second half. He had 5 assists on top of a few must have buckets that fueled our comeback. He is going to be the facilitator on the last shot for the foreseeable future. Finding EC is the 2nd option I am sure.

we shot 68% from the line, not great but not awful. we had many chances to win that game. having Gil for 21 minutes is why we lost, point blank.

we shot well enough against a stingy team, TOs were way down, rebounded better in the 2nd half, and despite having Gil and Martin on the bench battled back from what seemed like an insurmountable lead. Sorry Blue didn't see the same game as you.

It sucks we lost of course. But not seeing the doom n gloom that you are.

Just back from 1/2 mile ride from RC...It is clear we can run with any dawg in this league.

Another 4 or 5 would be huge...even Aaman or Hare will be a big help....

Last play SLU forced Munford right....well defended play. Needed EC or Munford on the left wing but SLU knew that and prevented it....

Lotsa pics took a couple hundred or so should be some keepers, will try and work on it tomorrow

Disappointed we couldn't pull it out but I'm happy with the way we played. We looked pretty good tonight. I feel like we played with confidence and never let the game slip away. The missed free throw and the call at the end were rough but what can you do. I want one of these close ones so bad! I want to get a win in a game like this, but we just aren't clutch like that yet. This team is fun to watch and it seems like they are continuously improving.

Blue Man completely with you.

We can say we got jobbed and with the way the rules are these days its a solid argument. they called it tight all night so if they were keeping it consistent then that should have been a foul and two shots for X.

That being said, i am completely done with X getting the final shots becuz of seniority. EC is the best player on the team hands down right now. Jabari parker doesnt defer to seniors and coach k doesnt expect him to.

look at the last 2 games. EC makes shots to get us back in the game(s) and x has missed one of two crucial free throws in both games. the drive that x had to the basket tonight was an out of control flailing prayer for a foul to get called. a selfish play in which he didnt look for a single player on the court and wanted it all himself but instead of taking it to the hole, ran into the defender and hoped for a bailout.

this game was a great effort and im excited for the rest of a10 play but i still cant help but think that if this team just hit a couple more free throws we would be sitting at 12 and 3

There was no way SLU was going to let Munford go coast to coast so that was a bad play. Two games in a row X missed FT near end of game. Didn't get away with it this time. I didn't think he was fouled either.
I know they had to play Reischel but to be calling clear outs for him in crunch time!
Overall, more good things than bad but would've been nice to grab this one.
