Except for their 6'10" starter who pulls down double doubles like its nothing. Our "big" guys might get a double double to though, if you count turnovers and missed FTs

Up to Rhody -9.5 on my side. Huge point change leads me to believe a bunch of sharp bettors jumped on Rhody early. I'll trust them. Will take Rhody -7

For the sake of the board, Rhody -7 all the way. However, if this line continues to balloon up to the 11 or 12 range, I'd be an Asheville guy with an actual betting ticket.

OK call me crazy but i've already changed my mind guys. I'm gonna bet the +9.5, this team is already battle tested against Duke, Kentucky, College of Charleston, Norfolk State THIS YEAR!! Their stats are deflated because they've played against great times. I see us having a hard time winning by 9.5

there should be a line for tomorrow's game as soon as ESPN and the betting sites realize there is a game. (There was 1 for the McNeese St and ECU game tonight)

As for a line on McNeese St - the line I have is Rhody -17. This is a HUGE discrepancy from wherever you got the -10.5. No way the line jumped that far this quick...where'd you see that?

I'm holding off launching these picks until we figure out what's what.

It definitely opened at -10.5 and I feel like you should get that if you made your pick before it was updated. But everyone taking the same line is fairer for the contest, so I'll stick with Rhody laying the points.

cbssports isn't a gambling website though. can't trust whatever they're saying the line is until there's a verified line by a site/casino that would actually take your money on it.

From every site that I've seen/use/my buddies use it opened at 17. It's up to 18 currently.

Can't think vegas or anyone in their right mind sets a line between an A-10 team (no matter what we say about their under-performace) against a team that hasn't even contended in a D1 game yet this season.

I think you can keep the responses to this thread - We probably don't need a separate gambling thread for each game. I'd say to just wait until Blue Man says the line for each game, since his source seems to be a bit more accurate.

I have no problem with someone else posting the line - but I tend to trust BetUS and covers.com. Those come from Vegas, and that's where I put my money so I figure that's more legitimate.

I'll try to get on early the day of the game and as soon as I see it open I'll post it.

George mason favored by 8 1/2 ???? I think this the best uri bet of the season. Uri gm should be toss up on neutral court give mason 3 to 4 for home court no way 8 with new starting line up for us.

I'm seeing that too Twisted. Personally think this thing is a 3-5 point game either way. No matter who wins, I think we stay within that range. Both teams have been a bit sloppy as of late, should be a close one IMO.

Vegas has 7.5 but my online site has 9.5. We'll go 9.5 because that's what im going to play.

I said I wouldnt...but im taking rhody +9.5
