URI. Could be a good big teamed with Fuchs. Wait a minute he got buried on the bench here. Never mind.

The staff’s handling of Fou was frustrating to me from where I sit - which is not in the Ryan Ctr.

But, I get that it takes two to tango so I am frustrated with Fou that he didn’t exert more effort and play smarter.

Drums remember he was only a freshman and bigs usually take longer to develop.

I would have liked him to stay and wish Archie gave him a little more run.

I'm sure the college basketball world is eagerly awaiting where Foumena is going. On the edge of their seats.

Well, at least more than Jimmy Ball and Jameson Smith.

Too bad - I had high hopes for him

This is the issue w the portal

Would have been fun to watch him mature like Hassan for 4 years

ECR, we agree on many things...Fou is not one of them. Seems like a good enough dude, and I hope he has a great career somewhere, but I'm not seeing that much potential. Then again, I've been way wrong before, so if he comes back to Rhody and stars, we can all be not surprised.

I hear ya - my post was poorly worded

Wasn’t trying to say he’d be like Hassan

But more of a nostalgic post about keeping a player for 4 years and watching him develop and calling him our own vs the rent a player every year BS going on now

High Point. Good level for him this coming season. He does well and he can move up in level for the following season.

The guys who underperformed or struggled here typically end up in a lower conference once they transfer. Good like to Fou, still think he'll be good.

Very random- former URI staffer under Coach Hurley Steve Enright is now the head coach at Keene State after a stint as head coach of D3 Bridgewater in VA. Keene State is considered one of the top Division 3 programs in the country.

Good catch Bos8
He worked for Hurley for 2 years. Early years with Munford and Terrell
Enright is from South Kingstown.

I'm rooting for Dowtin but he's going to be 27 next week and has never carved out a steady bench role for an NBA team. I think his future is in Europe.

Philly has only Embid under contract for next season so I can see Philly resigning JD and possibly making him the back up point
