Spoke to Thorr last week. He said he's very happy with Archie, understands this is a long process, and is excited for the ride. I don't think he would complain about Archie to a fan, but he seemed to have a lot of confidence in Archie and the future of our program.

What is there to be very happy about? We are the embarrassment of a bad conference. Archie has accomplished nothing since he arrived and there will be no excitement going into next year. Thorr is not going to say that they failed to any fans or people in the public. Is Archie considered a success if in year 6 they get the auto bid in a mediocre conference?

The last few minutes is why I'm queasy about Archie. Dubsky 2 3's. Then totally abused on defense. The kid is not quick enough on D. Play a zone with him in there. Coach to your players abilities. Show some flexibility Archie. That's a good coach. The ability to adjust in game. He never does.

That was said tongue in cheek because ECR lives in Charleston haha, but Louis Hutchinson showed more last year here than Dubsky has. He’s at CSU now.

Hutch must’ve gotten hurt a while ago, but he played 8 games and averaged 5 points, 2 rebounds and shot 34% from the field.

But again, was said more tongue in cheek than anything just because where ECR lives.

I don't think he regressed. He just isn't that good. He had a few tournaments where he was red hot and looked like the best player on the floor, so his recruitment started to blow up. I was so excited when we landed him. As the year went on and he played more, especially against athletic guards, he was clearly nothing more than a project with a great shot. He's a super nice kid, but he's very far away from being a rotation piece on a good A10 team.

Sure but does your tongue in cheek (vague answer to my question) that he couldn’t play for a significantly lower level program stand? Why would you write that otherwise? It was clearly a rhetorical statement you made. Kid can contribute in the A10, just needs wild confidence it seems based on his game at Putnam (where he played with high level division 1 players)
