Can’t say I’m shocked, this is the world we live in right now.

It does make sense though if they only can afford one trip, they go to the mens tourney as they only went to the women’s last season.
$70 fucking thousand dollars? URI can't afford 70 fucking thousand dollars? Just sell the Ryan Center and close up shop. Disgusting.
At first I thought it said 700K lol

They must be REALLY struggling to be able to afford 70K
If they sold 4,000 beers at $14 a beer that's $56,000. I bet that's one game. Yet he cries over $70K?

I mean our band is absolutely embarrassing in the Ryan Center TBH…

I am more shocked it costs $70k for a pep band to take a road trip and be cancelled.

The entire institution is pissing out money right now. Zero housing guarantees for graduate and doctoral students isn’t helping. Many from overseas without access to vehicles can’t live off campus and there is hardly anything for them.

Seems like The Ryan Center has lost the rights to host the boys and girls state championships to The AMP.

How many times did he announce a God @%#$ foul on a player that WAS NOT on the court? I yelled out to him 3 times at least saying “no Dan, that is wrong!!”

Maybe it's not the WIFI. I went to pay for a beer and the guy was like the machine isn't working well. I said that's because the WIFI sucks here. He said the machine is connected to ethernet. I'm thinking the ethernet sucks and thus the WIFI routers don't work.

On a positive note. I did notice one thing they have listened to about the fans complaint is they added a beer cart. The beer cart was alot faster only selling beer, water, Gatorade and popcorn.

The cart saved some much time today. It was at the top of the south entrance stairwell on 2nd level. Near sections 207 and 208

It was quite helpful...they actually had two right in that same area, one near the entrance to the section, another on the football field side...just minimal snacks and beers...well played

A PeeCee acquaintance went to the game Sunday. He could not believe how he had to stand outside in line to buy a ticket and then stand outside in line to get scanned. Did not like the way paying customers get treated.

I guess he is spoiled by walking from a covered garage to an inside ticketing booth to an inside scanning station. I wonder if the DAMP has walk through scanning like Gillette or PPAC or if it has our antiquated system.

Young Alumni night tonight.

Free samples and discounted Whalers DURING the game, as you can see from the picture below.

Went to check into the area at tip off, was told it was only a pregame reception.

These people are so ass backwards it’s hilarious.

As much as we’ve gotten on The Ryan Center for not retiring numbers, ring of honor, etc etc…

UConn is retiring Rip Hamilton’s number today, only the second mens players they’ve ever retired. Ray Allen the other.

Thought for sure there would’ve been many more.

They do however have multiple players in their Ring of Honor.

Just was surprised Rip will be the second jersey number they retire.

So for all of the complainers about the beer prices, my daughter and I went to the Damp today for a comedy show (Nate Bargatze). She bought us each a wine (in a can) no name brand. $46.00 for two wines..$23 each. I’m not going to complain about any of the Ryan Center prices!

Don’t know where to post this. This just in. No film at 11. Season tickets holders get a car interior Ram magnet sticker, pick up at Mason game. Can’t make that up. Keepsake for the season, I guess. Thanks. Details, one magnet per account, not per seat. OMG, why do they bother. Didn’t they do one towel per account before?
