Wow. Pleasant surprise. Big bright spot with Zek FINALLY getting going. Hopefully he can get some confidence and consistency going now. I think Green being out was what this team needed honestly. I feel like his body language and complaining to the refs progressively got worse each game. I also feel like he was one of the players Arch was talking about in the last presser. Maybe the illness was really a "rest and reset" by Miller, who knows. Just nice to finally have a decent game. I'm also not going to get fooled by this one. GW looked pretty damn bad. Oh well. Onto the next one.

Best game as a Ram for Brandon Weston. He has probably been our most willing defender all year. Made good decisions on offense and his body language was great all game. Was competing. Rubbed off on everyone.

Zek shows the ceiling many of us saw in him. Hopefully we can see more of that.

Still not sure what I just watched but I’m loving it.

That and Umass are this team’s ceiling. Need to see it consistently.

Missed the first half, but box score seems like Zek was very comfortable back in his early season role.

I don’t think it’s the role. He was in a funk long before Green got eligible.

He was injured. Notice the lack of KT tape on his shoulder the last 2 games.

Plus he’s been battle back injuries all year.

Eh he wasn’t really in funk before Green.

Scored 18 the game before Green became eligible.

8 straight game with 10+ points to start the season, only single digits three times before Green.

Zek also hasn't scored in double digits once since Green started playing.

Tough to say with those numbers that Green playing didn’t affect Zek.

Hell of a game tonight, hopefully gets back on track.

He was pretty bad at PC. I think he had about 5-6 turnovers that game. Then he had three bad games against Brown, Charleston, and Deleware. We were wondering what was up with him before Green played. But of course, Green playing has hurt his role. He's not getting nearly as many looks, so when he's missing everything he's taken, it seemed to get worse and worse for him. Maybe it was an injury, but he seemed pretty healthy when driving to the hoop like he was tonight, but he would just flat-out miss layups. Either way, we are a much better team when he plays well.

Love the clips Stevey. That late game turnover where we moved the ball up the court without it touching the floor ending with a Weston to Zek layup was a thing of beauty. Not on the level of that play in the Hurley years but pretty nonetheless.

Wasn't able to watch/listen to this one, so glad we finally got a nice road win and very happy for Zek. Makes me wonder if something finally clicked at practice this week, or is GW just that bad? URI can definitely score, so I imagine our D stepped up to some degree. We'll take it!

22, periodically I look back at the past games by the schedule that we lost and think we should have won this one, that one etc. I end up getting myself really frustrated over things that can’t change. I try not to do it anymore. I cut look back bait. Hopefully I stick with it.
