There were some bad noncalls by the refs, but we deserved to lose. Missed free throws, stretches of absolutely hideous offense in the half-court, horrible defense, dumb turnovers, and Archie putting Green in way too late, so he comes in ice cold. This is a very bad loss after getting smoked in back-to-back games. I keep trying to come up with excuses for our head coach that I have a lot of faith in, but it's getting tough. All the momentum of 3-0 is long gone.. Horrible loss.

Those were seasons where they were on the brink and found ways not to make tourney with good teams. This team and the conference just aren’t very good. The only problem with this season is there looks to be very little progress being made and getting an identity for next year.

Yes I remember the years of the Baron… loaded teams that had no business missing the tourney year after year. I understand. The difference is those kids would actually be expected back the following year for certain. With the current transfer rules and NIL, however, the present is so much more crucial to your future success. The resurgence (new hope, 3-0 in conf) immediately followed by the current downfall has made this year particularly frustrating. Cox teams had no chance competing in the A10, so that took the sting out of those seasons.
