When was the last time we beat a quality opponent and led basically wire to wire on the road?
Never led by a ton, never down a ton, but led basically the whole game.
New team, new outlook, new season.
Strap up.

Ut oh, don't be mean!
(You can also say that about every single program in the country. We are the only program in the country that puts out the embarrassment that is our epsn+ broadcast)
Now that we are winning its time to CUT BAIT!

Really nice road win. Every time Davidson made it close we had a response. Just about everyone who played had their moments

Totally agree, I thought Arch coached a great game tonight , possibly a game we may have lost under CoxBlue Man wrote: ↑8 months ago You know when you know you have a good coach?
When you’re playing the best you’ve played all night down the stretch, and you keep your best player on the bench because the guys on the floor are getting it done.
That’s great fucking coaching and such a good sign for this team and our depth.
I liked how we slowed the game down with that 6 point lead and we never were really threatened
2-0 in the conf feels good baby !

Yes.. 2-0. A road win in the books. Monster game from Kortright. Great rebound by Brown on House's dunk. Double double macine Fuchs gets another. Made Ft's down the stretch. Now find a better press break offense. Continuous improvement looks much better and more entertaining at this point. Kudos to Archie.

Nice win. Luis played great; but Fuchs was pretty damn good too. House did some stuff late. I try not to complain about refs; but wow, since when is breathing on the other team a foul?

I’m also old enough to remember when 90% of people here hated Fuchs.
Can only remember Me, Stevey, and Jersey wondering why people hated him so much.
BRUTAL at Mohegan yes, but very good rest of season.
Still cannot agree with one of best freshman in America, but damn he’s a force.

He’s a 5. He looked lost at the 4. He’s been unequivocally great since he came back from injury and DG took over the 4 duties.
He’s also evolving and developing. And he’s putting significantly more effort in.
He may not be a top freshman in America but he’s definitely a top freshman big in this conference. He’s so good down low.

Re: 1/9 | Davidson | 7:00PM (ESPN+)
Great road win . If they could finally make more free trows ad cut down a few silly turnovers they could compete with just about any one in the A10 .
Ithink the presence of Green alone has added a ton of confidence to The Rams players It seems to be the difference . Even though Davidson is not
looking good right now Rhody is shooting the ball with confidence and working hard on defense . Archie has gotten them turned around . They may be able to salvage this season yet . I'm sure the A10 is taking note . Kortright carried them tonight , but there was a good effort by all , so congratulations
to them all for a hard fought win .

Excellent excellent game again by Archie!
Great obviously, mvp performance by Luis!
But all the parts were either big big big,
or at least came up clutch in one or two spots,
cancelling out moments of not so good play.
Seriously, I think everyone who played contributed something.
The minutes weren’t distributed anywhere close to what I expected. And I like it.
Can’t wait for Saturday.

Blue Man, '15 is at the point he only gets sexually aroused when he is pumping it in everyone's face about how right he was about something and how wrong everyone was. The whole taking punches and giving it right back is indicative of a coach who has a feel for the game.
There’s a lot of “should” with what to do with players in foul trouble.
Archie put Green in early to see if he could trust him not to foul in the first. He fouled.
After learning that Archie held him out in the 2nd - longer than most may have liked, but he had a feel for the game that the guys on the floor could be trusted to keep them at bay.
We’re still young and making dumb mistakes - but we’re making dumb mistakes and winning tough conference games on the road.
And btw - it’s someone different every night stepping up. Sign of a good team and a good coach who knows he can turn to someone different each night.
I LOVE THIS.

Wont get any complaints from me.
The key is not only winning on the road, but showing some consistent good play.
Well I will complain about something..
Are there any good refs out there?
A10 refs are awful across the board.

You forgot me, I was front row on the Fuchs train early this year. He’s definitely not perfect but he does a lot of things well. I love his touch around the rim, he’s strong, he rebounds, has limited his bonehead plays (there will still be some), he’s a great post passer, and the biggest one….he’s a TRUE FRESHMAN!!Rhody15 wrote: ↑8 months agoI’m also old enough to remember when 90% of people here hated Fuchs.

Another good win tonight. This time they jump out to a sizable lead early and responded to every comeback attempt by Davidson. They countered every score late with one of their own by attacking Davidson’s lack of athleticism for easy layups. And they did this with Green mostly on the bench. They’re starting to renew a little hope.

He had that stupid turnover, followed by an insanely good block, followed by trying to take it 80 feet through the hoop in traffic and turning it over.
It was awesome and tragic simultaneously.

Got to give props to Tyson Brown, he had his best half as a Ram in that 2nd half. If Bilau could get healthy we might have our deepest front court (4’s & 5’s) we have had in a long time.

Re: 1/9 | Davidson | 7:00PM (ESPN+)
I don’t think Davidson is good but that’s still a real good road dub
Last years team loses that game by double digits
Depth on display tonight with Green mostly a non factor. Huge minutes from Brown. Play of the game might have been when he snatched that 50/50 ball and fed House for the dunk. That’s the type of swing play that wins games.
Fuchs is a man child. He’s a freshman. And he’s a walking double double right now.
Luis continues to be our most consistent performer game to game. Huge one tonight. Steady and savvy.
Archie pressed a lot of right buttons with personnel again. That unit in last five minutes defended their face off. Without fouling. He should have gone to his high IQ lineup sooner, inserting Cam and Green, when they had to start pressing us. Waited a bit too long for my liking.
Archie masterclass on offensive side of ball in crunch time. We ran some beautiful offense to get easy shots. Found Fuchs on a seal for a layup, numerous high low looks to Brown, and House coming off that curl to the rim which is really hard to stop.
