Small sample video but he has a smooth stroke from 3, does a good job setting his feet on his jump shot, does a good job squaring up when shooting the 3 and appears to have good court vision for an 2 guard.

That said, unknown as to the level of competition in the video.

Compelling prospect. One to keep a close eye on. We can always use more 3 point threats.

The game is against the i-school of Lewisville TX and played at the Hoopfest in Duncanville TX, a suburb of Dallas. The I-school plays a National Schedule

Patrick School continued to make the case that it’s the best team in the state with a 57-54 win over Hudson Catholic, No. 4 in the NJ.com Top 20, at The Battle at Rutgers University on Friday.

The Celtics now have wins over No. 1 Don Bosco Prep, No. 2 St. Rose and No. 4 Hudson Catholic.

Junior Brandon Lee was locked in from 3-point range and came through with 20 points in the win. St. John’s commit Jaiden Glover struggled early, but stepped up late and finished with 15 points. William Synder chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds to make sure Patrick School remained undefeated.


Auburn commit Tahaad Pettiford led all scorers with 26 points for Hudson Catholic and had a look in the final seconds that could have tied the game. The senior guard only had two points in the first quarter of the Jersey showdown, but came to life with 10 points in the second. He pulled Hudson Catholic even with Patrick School at one point in that frame with a shot from deep. Patrick School led the entirety of the second half, but another Pettiford 3 made it a one-point game with 2:13 to play.

Neither team hit a shot from the field after that. Taj Bryant did connect on two key free throws late to extend Patrick School’s lead to three. That forced Hudson Catholic to try to hit a shot from beyond the arc with time winding down. The Hawks were unable to connect and Patrick School hung on for the win.

Jayvon Rampersant had a double-double, with 14 points and 12 rebounds for Hudson Catholic.

Patrick School is now 11-0 and ended the week with back-to-back wins over Don Bosco Prep and Hudson Catholic. Lee went off for 34 points when Patrick School beat Don Bosco Prep on Wednesday.

The Celtics also beat No. 14 Roselle Catholic earlier this winter.

Patrick School is not an NJSIAA school and is not included in the NJ.com Top 20.
