Bilau hasn't surpassed 20 minutes since 2022, and he got hurt again after / during the Charleston game. (Can't remember which.) At this point, I kind of think he's going to be relegated to a bench role or spot duty, like the 4-minute shift he had the other night, because you can't really count on him to be in the regular rotation.

Blueman has been way harder than me! But still, he's not better than Bilau.ramster wrote: ↑3 months agoYou and BlueMan = people for the most partPeterRamTime wrote: ↑3 months agoYeah people just want to think Fuchs is better right now, because people have been hard on him.
I know you guys don't acknowledge +/- but...
Josophat Bilau is +7.2 best on the team by a mile if you don't factor in the 8.8 DG came out with.
Cam is next with +1.6
Everybody else is in the - category
All I want is for our most consistently good big to play minutes if he can.

Bilau is a true Center. He’s 22-23 years old. He’s had 4 years of D1 practice / experience / games.
Fuchs is moreso a power forward who may be asked to play the 5. He’s 19, with 2 months of experience, learning a new country and sorta new game (euro game vs D1 college game).

It appears Bilau is 23 turning 24 March 15th, Fuchs turned 20 November 21st. Overall your point stands

Yep, so this is a good opportunity for Archie, -can he make the adjustments to cover the threes:tonight. If they can, a nice victory will be ours.

I just said the "eagles" are up by 2 and my wife was all over me "they're HAWKS!!"
And I was like, ok, ok, I was thinking large, majestic, predatorial bird from Philly related to sports. So the eagle just popped into my head, I meant no disrespect.
lol.
That, and I'm probably going senile at an early age, so they're that.

The Joes aren't really doing anything too crazy out there, they run cutters under our big guys *cough*Fuchs*cough* to the basket and if that doesn't work, they resort to their outside game, which fortunately that second one isn't going so well for them at the moment.
Like I said, nothing crazy, they just started off doing it really well from the onset until we started to make adjustments

Luis doing a pretty good job with the start. I would have rather seen him just stroke it one more time from the wing, than try to go baseline like that and then end up passing it into a mob underneath.

URI really playing some solid defense, just haven't been able to capitalize on the defensive stops down the other end of the court

30-28 Joes. 328
Good game so far evenly matched
I’m not too impressed with Joes thought they were better , we can win this if we play well

Ehh it's early... St Joe's can get VERY hot at any moment. They are shooting horribly and we are still losing. Not a good sign in my opinion. Green missing a bunch of free throws is killing us as we already have a hard enough time scoring.

36-30 joes halftime
St Joes 41 % to 30 % shooting
Free throws Rhody 9-18 terrible

Come on Archie. Two minutes left in 1sr half and your bigs are gassed and you don’t make a sub for a fresh body. That cost us 6 and 0 for 4 at the FT line.

Re: 1/3 | Saint Joseph’s | 7:00PM (ESPN+)
Green is 3-10 from the FT line. 3-10...
That went how I expected. I figured we'd be down 6-8 at half, and we would go down double digits in the second. We just don't have enough weapons to keep up with this team. I hope i'm wrong

Gotta hit free throws to win a game like this…
Decent half, but we have to find a way to put the ball in the net. Too many missed gimmies.

Also, how did Fou get pushed out of the rotation? He’s had probably been our most consistent big for the first 10 games.
