They do get credit for playing that game. It'll be good for their metrics. It's hard to say how much the Nova win cancels out the Q4 loss, but it certainly gives them little margin for error. I think if they run the table in the OOC and don't drop another Q4 they should be fine. Win out and I think they go into A-10 play with a very solid shot at an at large.
That loss to Texas A&M Commerce is going to stick out like a sore thumb. They also won't get credit for losing a close game to Kentucky.
Dayton's LSU, St John's and SMU wins are okay. Feels like they need those UNLV and Cinci wins to feel confident.
Luckily for both the A-10 isn't full of landmines like it has been.
