I called Fuchs out multiple times for him being lazy after Washington St and Northwestern, but nice try. I also said he shouldn’t start, He hasn’t been the only reason we are losing tonight,

But this was a 3 point game at the half. He was pretty poor with who was playing how. Idk if guys were hurt or what. But he was really inconsistent with his minutes and why he was pulling certain guys and not others.

Friars are a solid team but do not appear to be a top NBE level team, imho, but will likely grab a bid anyway.

That Carter missed 3 and rebound by Weston was only the second empty trip for Providence since 10:29. Granted a lot of that was at the free throw line on some pretty generous whistles, but you just can’t have that kind of defensive stretch on the road against a good team and stay in the game.

Idk I’m not all that upset with this loss. I thought we showed fight for most of the game. I thought it had the potential to be worse. I think this team is headed in the right direction. I think we have a good chance to make noise in the A-10.

I haven’t exactly been effusive in my praise of Fuchs. I don’t think you can actually find me saying anything about especially complimentary about him. I just think some of the criticisms of him are a little unfair, bordering on absurd.

If I told you in a vacuum you’d have a freshman big with 11 and 6 with zero turnovers in a game at Providence you’d probably think that was great. Was it actually great? No. But having criticism of him being the primary thing you got from this game is silly.
