The FCS is just a AA or AAA league, developing players and then allowing all its talented players to get promoted to the major leagues. It still up to Fleming and staff to continue to bring in more and more high school players, look for players that didn’t make it in the majors and steal players from other FCS schools. It’s going to be a very tough business moving forward.

which is why it wouldn't make sense to get rid of Fleming at this point in time. He has proven he can recruit through all of this, and consistently turn over the roster. Talent is not the problem, at most positions.

At the time of the Tennessee offer Tuesday morning, Gibbs had already posted offers from UConn, Liberty, Boston College, Appalachian State, UMass, Western Kentucky, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and West Virginia.
